ChitoPC Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 So, when i turn on skin specular the eyes start glowing like crazy depending on the lightning and angle, i know this problem is common when using enb 0.366 but i want to find a solution, things ive tried and things to note: -messing with the "eyes" section in enb (0 result) -reinstalling the enb (0 results) -trying the eye normal map fix and rans eye reflections mod (0 results) -all eyes have this problem be default or added by mod -the problem gets fixed when turning off specular in enb( wich i dont want to do , hence me trying to fing another solution) What i need help with: I need a brave hero with experience using gimp or photoshop that can take the dds files adjunted and edit the alpha layer in a way thats a lot less bright, so the specular ingame doesnt make the eyes glow like crazy, Thanks in advanve eyevampire_02.dds eyevampire_01.dds
VersuchDrei Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 I stumbled upon this and remembered your post:https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/25631 Worth a shot.
C5Kev Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 "So, when i turn on skin specular..." What??? !!! Uh, what are you doing? - First, why not try a newer ENB binary to see if it solves the problem. Wouldn't that be easier? If a new binary fixes it great. If not, it's something else. - I seriously doubt it's the textures. Adjusting the alpha will only "wash out" the eye texture and not solve your problem at all. - Are the eyes the game's default eye meshes? Something tells me that you probably overwrote the original nif files with some mod. Otherwise, we'd all have this problem. You may want to check that out (somehow) and / or use "Bethesda Archive Extractor", open the "meshes.bsa" file and extract eyesfemale.nif and eyesmale.nif and copy them into the "meshes\actors\character\character assets" directory and see if you still have a problem. Do the above, then let me know what you've discovered.
