Help with event that is triggering a crash

So, for the first time in... forever... I stopped modding and am actually trying to play through Skyrim (I have modding ADD). Anyways, I've actually made it to level 11, started near Helgen, went to Riverwood, to Whiterun, hit up Bleak Falls, back to Whiterun, killed that dragon, bought a house, then to Iverstad, spoke to them Greybeards, back to Ivarstad, fought a dragon there, and was heading back to drop stuff at my house... when... as it always happens, I'm hitting a crash.

I am crashing outside of Whiterun. I even got inside Whiterun because of Body Search but crash when exiting the Guardhouse into Whiterun. Now this wouldn't be so confusing to me, except I already have been to Whiterun, twice in fact. So... why is it crashing now? To resolve and track this down, I keep thinking there is some sort of event that might be triggering. I remember something about a dragon attack at Whiterun, but wasn't sure if it was a scripted event. I was wondering if this is kind of a specific event that happens here and if anyone knew what that was, that maybe there's a missing mesh or texture or some other glitch I could track down in CreationKit or SSEEdit.

question 1: show us your load order 2; do you use loot 3 what type of mod organizer do you use, 4 have you tried to fast travel directly in whiterun? and last 5 Did you change ANYTHING between the last time you left whiterun and came back, in your modlist or loadorder?

Normally you uninstal al your mods and instal them by category (1 body, 2 clothing, 3 animation (first essential needs then optional add ons) followed by homes, followers etc till you find that which is causing it, very tedious operation I know, (been through it a lot) but it helps you to learn to resolve issues, conflicts and errors by yourself.

Usually the fastest way is to disable to last mods you downloaded and activated, are (most likely) the cause of it.

To answer 1... see below. I didn't want to put everyone through ALL that... It's an extensive list and I would feel bad to have anyone spending a half hour combing through my mod list... however, to assist below is my Mod Load Order and Mod Install Order. I do use Loot. I use MO2, I've tried fast traveling and crash, and no, I haven't installed anything since I started this game.

And, I could snag computer specs... but it's pretty high end computer.

one thing I noticed.. is the brawl bug fix.. is not needed as it is covered by the unooficial skyrim patch, and could be the problem, causing the crash.

I keep track of this now,im gonna sleep as it is well after midnight here

I forget why I put it back in, but I'll try removing it and seeing what happens.

*Update* - Naw, still crashed. I know there was a reason I had put that back in temporary, but I can't remember why at this point.

Normally you uninstal al your mods and instal them by category (1 body, 2 clothing, 3 animation (first essential needs then optional add ons) followed by homes, followers etc till you find that which is causing it, very tedious operation I know, (been through it a lot) but it helps you to learn to resolve issues, conflicts and errors by yourself.

Usually the fastest way is to disable to last mods you downloaded and activated, are (most likely) the cause of it.

I've done that uninstall process a lot. Normally that is what I do when I find a crash, I just don't understand why this is happening after doing the Greybeard quest but not before. So I was trying to avoid disabling sections of mods, having to play through the game to that same point, to see if it crashes then.

ok to see if it does happen and when you may need to restart your game from scratch, then if it doesn't happen the very first time, you need to find the difference between the first time entering and later.... your mod list gives no clue, the why or if. Unless you have mods active that trigger animations between NPC's, but if those animations are not there or properly installed, that may also cause crashes. it is something you may need consider also...

Have you got a source for that information? As far as I know the modern brawl bug patch is needed. The original one didn't work.

So good news...

After I spent some time, updating a handful of Visual / Environment mods that I'd been ignoring (and some others that just got updated), and then I re-categorized my Mods since I had maybe like... 30 I hadn't put into the Category and altered the mod list... Still kept crashing.

However, with the categories all redone, I was able to take away mods that likely wouldn't break the save and let me play. Turns out, the mod causing the crash was an NPC mod called "The Ordinary Women SSE". Basically just changes the visuals on some NPCs. I've had it since December of 2019 (although, again I am guilty of rarely playing the game). I went through the posts and found A LOT of people having random CTD near cities with this mod. So, if anyone has it in the load order, you might want to consider getting rid of it it causes issues. I'm not sure if one of the other NPC overhauls got an update and is screwing with this one, but... yeah, it's outta my load order for now.

Thanks all who tried to help though, much appreciated as always.
