Hello I am new here, and looking for some mods to make my game more enjoyable.

Hello. I have always loved the Fallout stories, and games.. Not so much the people making them. 76 was just them pissing on us... But I still love those that came before.. But I am finding it harder to play with the older graphics, and I have been wanting to find some mods that improve how the NPC's look, and the overall model quality of things I interact with. Not particularly anything sexual. Just visual. If I have to get the sexual stuff along with it to get a visual upgrade that is fine.. Oh, and I am not really looking for anything that makes the game easier. Just to make it look better... 

 

Mind you I am REALLY having not experience with using mods before, but when I looked on the workshop I found ZILCH that can help with what I want.. I tried one that said it improved piper, and she would up looking like something out of a Lovecraftian novel.

The WSFW stuff doesn't bother me, and can be an enjoyable part of the game. I just do not want mods that make the NSFW stuff the FOCUS of the game.

If your computer isn't a potato, this type of enhancement really makes a difference in your gaming environment. There are lots of presets on places like the nexus that you can try.

Nexus is hated by some for some valid and some not so valid reasons, but as Yinide said, Nexus is a good starting place for people jumping into modding.  LL caters more to the experienced modder who knows the use of LOOT, WYRE Bash, FO4Edit, etc.   That said, I would recommend that you go to Nexus, get Vortex and let it help you set up your mods to run.  

 

To get it to look good, are you looking for the environment?  ENB mods make things more pretty but I have used regular 4k mods to get to "good enough for me".   If you are looking for making the people of the commonwealth look good (in my post apocalyptic world, all women are Victoria Secret's models though dress in more combat friendly clothes)  then CBBE or Fusion Girl are your go to mods.  

 

Finally if you mean "good" from a game play experience, Horizon makes the game a lot tougher (and less of a casual game) while AAF (advanced Animation Framework I think) is a critical mod, especially if you want to add some of the more, ahem, adult situations.

 

So, to make it all easy, once you are in Nexus (you have to register to download) view the most popular downloads, and load up about 40 to start with.

As I said I have nothing against the NSFW stuff, and Can even appreciate it greatly when the mood strikes me.. As long as it isn't to the point where it makes the WHOLE game about it.. Such things should be used to Spice up things, and for Roleplay. At least in my opinion. But everyone has their own tastes, and I respect that. I will look into the info you have given Me, and I thank you for the help.
