GrimSovereign Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 IMHO UNP would be better. Slimmer one would look better. but then i wouldent be able to make it body slide compatable, and i can get the unp body shape using the body slide tool if i make it compatable. Win win if you use bodyslide so make it with CBBE and then you can make a UNP version just as well... exactly, make it bodys slide compatable and make everyone happy
GrimSovereign Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 ok so trying to get this armor to work for it and then actualy make it high res and very detailed is a pain in the ass, and the most ive been able to do so far was get teh gloves to be able to be seperate and ready to be bound to the hands of the character, cant test it though cause skse is being bitchy because of the new patch, i am however thinking it might be best if i just simply sculpt this all from scratch in zbrush around the body that i personaly use. (as well as others)

(as well as others) SKSE patch has been released So far if you managed to spread out the hands it's already a great job... Just test it and see what it gives with the patch and if it works might continue... Ofcourse that armor has a big bunch of details It's Elise... How many bodypaint is that armor actually... It would be easy to actually throw the full thing as an overwrite but I hate that system... Not sure if you noticed but quite a few of other mods like this get missing things from base parts XD I hope you can make each part look as it should... (Dunno if my body though but try for an example the Fox Armor it just clips out parts if you don't wear some pieces )

(Dunno if my body though but try for an example the Fox Armor it just clips out parts if you don't wear some pieces ) the problem with the elise model from the game is its very low polly, so its harder (for me anyways) to edit it, and yes i have tessilated it but it dusnt help much, the other problem is that the skin that goes on it is suuuuuper low res so using it as a guide line for were i should be seperating things from eachother makes it difficult to see. and lastly the gloves were simple to seperate from the rest because of how her gloves are already seperate from the rest by a bit of skin, the boots on the other hand litteraly meld into the rest of her suit so trying to figure out were to seperate it is a pain in the butt, it would be easyer to just make the boots and armor one piece but that means you cant wear them with other boots and the boots you would wear with this armor would simply make the feet vanish. sooooooooooooo the way im kinda tinkering with to try and work around all this is by making the hands, body, and feet of the cbbe body i personaly use one object then importing it into zbrush and then creating the armor from scratch in there, this way im able to get a high mount of detail and demenshions on the armor rather than it mostly being flat witch is how it would be if i just used the riped one, im hoping the finished armor will look more like this: http://browse.deviantart.com/art/Elise-spider-queen-354436776 by time im done or at least close to it.

rhino527 Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Man I wish I could help I took Digital Imaging and design for a few semesters at my college, but I couldn't retain the knowledge so I switched to a new degree :/ but anyway I wish you the best of luck man I'll be keeping a watch on this!!
JinZen Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I wonder if there is any progress on this one ...
deadcause13 Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Sorry for the thread necromancy everyone, but I must say this, great minds think a like!Ever since I got into Armor modding for Skyrim (which was about a week ago), I've been thinking of creating a LoL inspired Elise Spider Queen Armor. And for the most part, things are going better than expected! I hope that the OP would continue their work, but if they can't, I'd like to post up MY iteration instead. But should the OP feel as though I'm plagiarising their original idea, I'll be happy to take it down, once they finish their project. -Cheers!
