toastysecret Posted August 6, 2020 Posted August 6, 2020 Heya! I've been loving Sexbound, but I have a question. If I use the Sexbound menu item, the "Welcome" screen is completely empty, except for showing my sexbux balance. I assume there are supposed to be options for settings and the like, but it's fully empty (see included screenshot). This is on both the 4.0.2-Beta and the completely new 4.0.3-Beta versions of Sexbound. I've included my Starbound logs as well, although I don't see any errors I can really understand (It does have an error for the Avali support mod, but I've already tried excluding that mod, and it didn't fix it ), or that tell me that they're related to Sexbound. Everything otherwise seems to be running smoothly, so I'm not quite sure what the issue is. I hope you can help me, because I want to enjoy Sexbound to the fullest extent! I've been loving it so far, since I downloaded it yesterday Below are a picture of the list of mods I've manually installed, as well as those I have through the steam workshop: starbound.log

You can't customize config values in-game, as a limitation of Starbound itself, the "Customizer", albeit named... inaptly, doesn't allow you to customize much of anything as is, maybe later as more features are added there.
Rezom69 Posted August 6, 2020 Posted August 6, 2020 Um about the pregnancy feature i wanna get some info about it like does it require normal day passing in game or can u speed that up?

Used to be an in-game day on the planet where it happened, but now there's a IRL clock tracker i believe. So when it says a few days, it really means it.

OR you can also disable real-time pregnancies in the config files, y'know, along with several other options, within the unpack version of the mod. (Also, this is a troubleshooting thread for the issue toastysecret pointed up there... The main thread is not this one.)
toastysecret Posted August 7, 2020 Author Posted August 7, 2020 Oh, alright, good to know! I spotted an older thread and the way it was worded it seemed like there was something supposed to be in that menu. Good to know there isn't, thanks for your help!
Rezom69 Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 Can someone show me how i can change it to ingame time pregnancies?
red3dred Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 12 minutes ago, Rezom69 said: Can someone show me how i can change it to ingame time pregnancies? As @TimberLimberWolfy said in the Cutebound compatibility thread: (Click the top-right arrow or the top bar of the embed below to be linked to that post) And for reference, for other configs, just open up the unpack and you'll see several configs right away, and you can always ask for support if you can't get something to work.
Rezom69 Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 I found it but how do i save it? Sorry for asking so much its just that i never done this before

Sorry for asking so much its just that i never done this before ... how do you... save it? Like, just saving in whatever text-editor you have available isn't working or what...? I don't get the question, and all i can say is "You press Ctrl + S"... You make your edits, you save it, and then you launch the game and see if it works still, that's all there is to it really. If you messed up a comma or added a period somewhere it'll crash or not work, but we can always confirm the problem and help so long as the LOG is provided. It's in bold capital letters because of how important it is to solve Starbound issues. More on how to get it can also be told... Anyway, always elaborate. Don't be afraid of typing or asking too much, nobody here is going to bite unless you're into it.

So the src version do i need to take every file out of every folder and put it in to the mod folder?
Rezom69 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Welp the src version just crashes my game without error message
red3dred Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 11 hours ago, Rezom69 said: So the src version do i need to take every file out of every folder and put it in to the mod folder? You just put all it's files inside a singular folder in your mods folder. 10 hours ago, Rezom69 said: Welp the src version just crashes my game without error message Yes that happens if you don't do the above correctly.
Rezom69 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Alright thanks for ur help and sorry i was so dumb
red3dred Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 7 minutes ago, Rezom69 said: And the bow doesnt work anymore Hmmm.... Quote So, to better report issues, try providing a log file and a description of the issue. To find the log file, it should be within your Starbound installation directory, then the storage folder. You should see a text file named starbound.log (Or simply starbound, a plain text file). Paste it into your response as a attached file, or use PasteBin, whichever you prefer. Then users can look into your issues with the necessary information at hand. <Just please don't post the whole thing as text here> That's all i need, to tell you all you need to know about what is wrong. This is still not the right thread but eh. No problem helping here too.
Rezom69 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Cant u just show me it would be much easier for me
red3dred Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 14 minutes ago, Rezom69 said: Cant u just show me it would be much easier for me Just show you... ? Where the log is? If words aren't getting that through then images won't help, Windows makes things look different based on what programs you have, settings etc.
Rezom69 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Well i have the starbound.log but what do i need to change then?
