Guest Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 HI THERE, Here's my problem. I want to wear the BlackWidow (PeroPeroArmor) with the Nordplate - bikini 7 armor part (TAWOBA). Problem is both use 32 body slot. So I've tried to replace bikini armor part to 56 Chest Secondary. I've done every step to change the slot of my peace of armor (Nordplate - bikini 7). But it still doesn't show up in game (the body's still invisible) and The blackwidow armor remains unequipped. Here's what I've done ---> STEP 1 : NIFSKOPE I've done the following operations exactly the same way in both .nif files, bikini_7_0.nif and bikini_7_1.nif. - Changed 32 BSDismemberSkinInstance SLOT (32 body) to SLOT (56 MOD CHEST SECONDARY) - Changed 39 BSDismemberSkinInstance SLOT (38 calves, 32 body, 34 forearms) to SLOT (56, 56, 56) - Updated All tangents (First doubt here, I'm not sure if i had to change both BSDismemberSkinInstance (32 and 39) or just only one of them.) STEP 2 : SSEDIT/Creation KIT - Changed armoraddon SLOT 32 body, 34 forearms, 38 calves TO 56 Unnamed - Changed armor SLOT 32 body to 56 unnamed So that's it. I don't know how to fix it. Do I have to also make changes on the BlackWidow armor part ? Any issues ? Any help would be welcome !

I can't see any step that's been missed, this should have worked from what I can tell. I'm gonna have a go with this (shame there's the UUNP link is dead to GParmor3) because I can't see what you've done wrong.

If so, don't do the meshes generated by Bodyslide, the _0 and _1 Modify the Mesh in CalienteTools, BodySlide, ShapeData (make a back up first) Or everytime you create a new on in Bodyslide it will go back to it's normal slot.
RW311 Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 Yes as Mez558 points out you must modify the outfit in shape data if you are going to build it again but if not then you must modify both _0 and _1 of a nif or your changes in the _0 shape are ignored (unless your outift has no weight slider) otherwise there is nothing wrong there.. except why did you update tangents?

Saves time, especially if you change bodyshape later. I used slot 46 only because I know it is used as a Chest slot but for no other reason. Did everything you did Except modified the ShapeData mesh AND deleted the reference body that comes with the Bra (Just used Block, Remove in nifskope) Excuse the clipping through the bra, I built the bra to 7BO preset but left Build Morphs ticked so it's getting adjusted (br RaceMenu settings) where the none BS 7BO body that comes with the Black Widow armor isn't. Yes I've already tried to replace and build it afterwards on Bodyslide, but the problem remains the same. But there is only one file in ShapeData/TAWOBA Nordplate Bikini 7/TAWOBA Nordplate Bikini 7.nif Should there be two of them the _0 and _1 ? Here's the screenshot of the file located in ShapeData doc

Doing the Min and Max weight is fine if the armour isn't generated by Bodyslide, if it is then any time you rebuild that outfit mesh it will overwrite these with the original settings. Yes, there is only one mesh in ShapeData, from this Bodyslide creates the _0 and _1 meshes, assuming the bodyslide conversion was set up to create a low and high weight mesh. Most are.

Reveal hidden contents Oh bollocks. Sorry I didn't notice the SSEdit You posted to the LE forum and all my testing was done in LE. I would still have answered but with the caveat, this is in LE. I take it that both the armour sets are SE versions and both work fine seperately?

Yes both work fine Think you can ask a Moderator to move it to the SE techsupport, don't create another thread there. If you can amend the title of this maybe add SE to it.
RW311 Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 Are you making these edits and loading a save where you had item equipped? Whether on SE or LE you will have problems with doing that, make sure the item is not used by anyone in the save and you may still need to make and load new save because armor data doesn't always update unlike a change to nif or textures if old biped slot data was in the save it can still be there. The overlay problem you have is why I think you had it equipped already, or the armor used textures sets and you can't change the source nif unless you also update the texture set data or you will get wrong textures on wrong biped slots.

Or you have a mod that has stored the biped slot data of the armor.. something sex lab or follower mod related that used the data from that armor maybe to equip npc's or whatever.

If not, then you need to go back and redo what you show at the start and be careful that you have saved your work appropriately.

I've contacted a modderator and asked to change it to the right place. This mod isn't avaible for SE

I proceeded by trial and error using DX Succubus Armor as a reference for part assignment . Originally the partitions were 56 Unnamed , and the belt did not appear, it remained invisible. Analyzing several mods with belts, I found in DX Succubus Armor, the one that solved the problem for me . It could be used for the same purpose. Having many parts of armor, one could identify the various partitions

Still doesn't work but It appears there is at least some changes : - the bikini now appears but it's still hidding the black widow armor - Bikini seems to work fine with Roughspun tunic but I don't know wich slot it's using Spoiler
