chorizardjunior Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 I am using pregnancy in a simple way with a pregnancy rate of 100% and no sims get pregnant. I have also used pregnancy at 50% and 80% and I also cannot get the sims to get pregnant. What can I do?
Scorpio Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 Check all your birth control settings; they might be set for strict protection.
rgs7 Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 I have had a similar issue and have checked that as well. I have rotated thru several households, 'Try for baby' or other sex; no one has successfully gotten pregnant. (I have also had an odd coincidence that the 3 marriages all had the male immediately die of laughter, but I am assuming that is a bizarre coincidence).

I've found that switching households to get sims pregnant would not stick when you switch back to play another household. For some unknown reason they get reset. Only way was to visit them and let WW Autonomous sex happen between them or else have my male do the female in manual mode. Always worked, but depends on all your WW birth control/pregnancy settings. Or also when using MCCC Woohoo 'try for a baby', (if the settings are also correct) If I'm understanding the new WW change log correctly WW has now taken control over the default EA 'try for baby' stuff. (Unless it's just the menus for it). So maybe it's taken over those type of pregnancies too IDK. Older WW versions the 'try for baby' would almost always work because it was a separate EA system, (but I don't know if this has changed now). This is the one that MCCC could control in population settings so you could prevent the game from making so many babies at random. Or in the MCWoohoo pregnancy settings. Other sex or pregnancy mods can also block pregnancies, or maybe even some other oddball mod. I've also disabled emotional deaths with MCCC since it's rather strange to me that sims can even die of laughter.
