Sunkiss Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 Can someone please help? My cc and base game sinks have disappeared and my cc careers like modeling don't work. I've tried to put my sinks back but get a script error. An app says this is the cause but I don't know what this means. Chasman Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 The latest update messed up the custom careers. You need to see if those careers were updated. Unless you've got some special mod I'm at a loss about the sinks. Mine work fine.

I tried to put my sinks back in the game and it says script error. ?♂️ Sink problem might be the "don't wash dishes where you angry poop" mod from MTS. Think I tried this one before and had all my sinks vanish as it was an outdated mod. Or else it was another mod that does the same thing. If you have any cc sinks installed I'd also remove them for further testing. Delete your localthumbcache in your TS4 folder. And try doing an Origin Repair. Custom Career mods always have problems with major game updates. They can even mess up the normal EA careers.

When I go to a lot my kitchen counters are gone and when I try and place new ones, whether they're custom content or Maxis I get the above error message from my Better Exceptions mod.

Have you tried playing on another Lot/Home yet? Or tried starting a new game? Could be your lot is bugged. If it still happens elsewhere or with a new game then you either have some broken mods or the game is corrupted which requires a Game Repair.

I'm having the same error message but in my case, i can't place some doors, the "closed" ones. If it's an gate, it clicks on just fine with the fences, if its an archway it goes on fine as well but doors are the issue. I've tried to create a new game but nothing happens... Just don't know what to do

Just don't know what to do Broken Doors are usually from Basemental Drugs or BD Gangs Mods that need updating.
