New here and no idea what I'm doing

Greetings all.  Relatively new to modding in general and absolutely horrid with all things computer.  Figured I'd make a topic to ask for help.  I'm trying to do like the basic deviant stuff in skyrim like hook-up with random NPCs, see giant tits, etc.  I downloaded fore's new idle in skyrim SE, sexlab framework, skyui, and use skse, but whenever I open the mod configuration screen the last 4 things just have ? and everything appears to be installed correctly.  The game plays like normal, nothing out of the ordinary so far, maybe some female NPCs might say something like "if you're looking for a handout you should find my husband, but if you're looking something else I suppose I could do worse" but idk if that's a line from the vanilla game or from one of these mods.

These are like the bare minimum stuff to get Sexlab framework working, which will do nothing on its own. You need more stuff in order to get naked bodies, a way to start scenes, additional animations, etc. That's why you don't see anything special in game, that line you mention is pure vanilla dialogue that leads to nothing.

If you're truly new here and to using mods in general I'd recommend you to pick a mod manager, learn to use it and then start reading about the mods you'll need to use and explore to find the mods you'll want to use. I made a guide about starting to mod SE using MO (a mod manager), if you're interested you can check it out (link is in my signature, it's also a pinned thread in the same forum section you posted this).

I'm getting somewhat ok at using vortex.  I had to watch the video on fnis description page to do everything it says to do.  Thanks for the link

I see, sadly I don't use Vortex and my guide is heavily centered around MO, so you won't get much using it. If you're comfortable with Vortex you can totally keep using it, check the other pinned threads here or in my signature for info and links to other mods (which is what you'll need to add so you see some action in game). Go slowly and read everything so you don't hit a wall. Good luck.

I'm having a few issues.  I installed FNIS and did everything there according to the instructions for Vortex.  Now I'm running into issues when sex is actually initiated.  Often times when my character and NPCs go to start having sex I will bug out and randomly appear somewhere else or I'll be stuck in 3rd person view and I can't look around at all after we finish.

EDIT:  Idk why, but the above issues seem to have resolved themselves somehow.  Is there a way to get armors to fit these clearly not vanilla main character and NPCs?

I think I'm getting the hang of everything.  Got the Daedric Bitchs mod and have clothing for everyone that doesn't make everyone go back to vanilla appearances.  It's really nice.  I always kinda figured this many mods would just break the game.

There are a few things that might help you.

Always run FNIS after adding a new mod.  I've had issues with mods that didn't pop a FNIS message after installing, rare though.

The newer Vortex does have a way to set hierarchy with mods...on the plugins page.  You can click on the plugin and set where you want it to be, more or less.  I set things like Bijin Warmaidens, and other NPC mods as 'Late Loaders' with the available tree; fixes most blackface/conflicts with those, as such.  I always hit 'sort now' after adjusting things.  Downloads from here, and other sites, are not automatically recognized so you need to read the description, and such.  I dl from here, then drag to the loader.  All I drag automatically go to default in Vortex...you will learn, over time, what category to actually set them to to help your game be less twitchy.  I would pick a plugin (plugin page, not the mod page), and double click it, a window will open along the right side, pan down and you will see a slot to assign...open it, and you will see a list of categories.  I tend to use  'Late Loaders' for NPC mods, and follower mods...just an FYI, you may have different results.
