crazy bin Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Ive been having this issue for the past...16 hours or so...all ive been adding to my mod folder lately has been animations only...today i added the latest WW (v157a) but it didnt seem to fix anything... exactly what happened today (i cant remember my steps yesterday), one of my sims got pregnant, i went on CC to see how many kids etc, and when i 'exited' CC the game got on pause, couldnt change speeds or save...i could still change sims and go to the main options menu but when i tried to save it got stuck there saving....last night it was saving all night :( any thoughts? Could an animation mod cause such issues? thanx for your time

Then delete your localthumbcache in your TS4 folder, do this whenever you add, remove, or update mods or game. If that doesn't work try loading a previous save, in case your current game save got borked. You can also test by starting a new game.

No it's just a temp file created by the game to help load things faster when you start up your game the next time. Problem is that it also caches old data from mods or old game versions too. When you mix old and new data loading things can get quite wonky.
