SexLab Won't Install In SSE

When I start up the game (after running FNIS), I get notifications about the Creature Framework installing successfully, as well as a Debug / Self notification for SexLab. After waiting a little while longer, the menus populate to the MCM.

 

The menu lets me click 'install' for SexLab, but even after exiting out of the menu, nothing happens, no matter how long it sits there idly. This is 1.63 (beta). 

 

I'm also running:

-SkyUI

-SexLab Aroused

-JContainers

-XPMSSE

-SLAL

And the unofficial SSE patch. Reinstalling 1.63 (and running FNIS again) didn't fix this issue. I'm probably missing something obvious, but not sure what to do next.

Save the game and load it again. Or better yet, save the game, close it completely and start it again, load the save and wait a bit. Sexlab should continue installing after that and you should get to the end of it without issues.

 

I've experienced incomplete installs a few times, it mainly depends on how I start the game (aka which alternate start mod I'm using to avoid the boring intro). A simple save and load should be enough.
