kapibar Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Hi, I think I might've just completely screwed up my Skyrim and I have no clue how to fix it. Things got messy when I started a new game. Some merchants & innkeepers don't have the dialogue options to sell/rent a room. I made a clean install, disabled all the plugins and Hulda has only one dialogue option (learn more about magic). I wouldn't want to reinstall every mod on my list, as it would be a huge pain, so I'd really appreciate your help here. Thanks in advance.

Clean installs don't have plugins? Can you uninstall/re-install the entire game without changing your mod list? I guess it sort of makes sense you can, as mods are installed to "virtual" file structure. When you mess about with something and it stops working think back to the last time you recall it working and what did you do to it/changed on it after this point? That should narrow down your search as to what caused the issue. This is not a Skyrim concept, it's basic fault finding for anything that you are messing about with. Failing that, post your Load order.
kapibar Posted July 12, 2020 Author Posted July 12, 2020 @Mez558 I believe something went wrong when I uninstalled the game. I made a second clean reinstall and everything was fine in vanilla mode, so I started disengaging mods one by one. The culprit was pchs's Wartimes alternate start scenario (which was recently removed from LL). @nomkaz I think this is an information that might be important for you, as I believe you made a SE version of the mod. In any case the problem is solved. Wartimes - A Daughter's Tale messes up the dialogues for innkeepers and merchants.

If you start the game with Wartimes - it's guaranteed your game will be fucked (for instance - it messes up radiant quests).
