Noob modder needs help with standalone follower

Okay, so I was using Skyla's tutorial for the creation of an standalone follower, and at the end I got this and its driving me nuts, I really don't know what to do, I thought it was a problem of the body meshes, so I tried with all the CBBE alternatives but nothing worked, I was using a bodyslide preset when I did her face in the Racemenu, but again im a complete noob so I'm incapable of finding the .nif files of my bodyslide preset to use as body meshes for my follower

 

but probably I'm complitely wrong, I have 0 modding experience, please I need your wisdom

image link page is empty.  body slide preset or body type used doesn't affect face at all only weight can affect morph - but without any image or description I have no idea what is the problem you have.

Edited, is that invisible neck line that separates the head and the body

I don't see the image but these are common reasons to have this...

 

Racemenu head export character weight was different than the facegen export you made with ck,  assuming this is how you made the npc. Just fix the weight in the esp and rebuild facegen then merge again with racemenu head.

 

Your npc is setup with a custom body path using worn armor  but the armor has broken weight slider, this is even more likely because if you made this armor with ck duplication it almost always breaks weight slider value, fix it with tes5edit very simple just go check that weight slider for female and male is checked.

Okay, I uploaded the image, she does not wear an outfit or armor, complitely naked, I did it using nif merge to the exported archive from ck, in the tutorial Skyla makes clear that the body weight is important, and I tried to make sure that everything is correct in that regard, and It must be because if I introduce every other value that is not the one she is supposed to have (0.3 in racemenu, so its 30 in ck) her face turns black

 

EDIT: Wait so you are saying that I need to match the bodyweight before merging the files? I think last time I did that but since I'm not entirely sure I'll do it just in case

 

EDIT2: Okay I did what you said, the weight was the correct one, I re-exported the file, then merged the two faces, checked that the bodyweight remains the same, but nothing, same bug, it also appears, that If I compare her to the one I created using Familiar Faces, her head is like... small? compared to her body? I tend to make her heads a bit bigger using racemenu's slider would that affect the exported head from racemenu?

At least it looks like I did the standalone body "work" the CK one is not using my bodyslide preset, both are same weight

 

EDIT3: I realized that when she wears armor(vanilla armor), her bodyweight changes to something higher

The naked body is an armor and if you made this armor or copied it from somewhere check in the armor addon (in the esp data) that the weight slider female is active or you will have this neck gap problem because body will not morph to npcs weight. So you would have a weight 30 head but a weight 100 body. If you did not add worn armor reference to npc or add via a custom race then ignore this because npc is wearing default naked body.

 

Scaling in racemenu uses nioverride and the changes are saved to the skse cosave with the reference of the character that was created and none of that information would be available to the npc that was created through ck. So I would not mess with any scaling sliders because added work of adding that scale change to a custom skeleton and making npc use it seems like a waste of time to me. I don't know if it affects the weight morph or could change the position of the node in relation to the mesh but I wouldn't rule it out.

If I enter the area with a male character she looks bugged again

this game confuses me a lot, also it appears that she has a different voicetype when I enter with the male character? with the female character she uses "female sultry" but with the male character she uses "female condescending"

EDIT: I tested her in my laptop, and she works "fine", with both male and female, (however with the male character she is just missing) but at least when I summoned her with console commands she had her textures working perfectly fine:

Skyrim data folder / meshes / actors / characters / character assets, copy all female body (Body, hands, feet, head) and drop in Skyrim data folder / meshes / actors / character/ folder follower , launch FNIS

I wanted to do it but didn't know how, however it did not fix my problem with her bodyweight, she gets bugged only when I use my male character and only on my main PC wtf? xD

 

I think this is because some weird conflict with some of my mods, because if use the console commands to set her bodyweight to 30 and then disable-enable her, the bug gets fixed, also in my laptop's setup everything works fine now, so thank you both for your help!

You can try it like this: With TES5Edit you can make the weight of the follower permanently

 

TES5Edit

 

Start TES5Edit, the support page on the first start happens (click on the red box at the top right, until it disappears).

 

 

Right Click and select NONE , everything will go out.

Browse the list of plugins and look for that of the follower  , select and click ok

Wait for the data to finish loading

 

Extend the follower menu until you find Non Player Character (Actor) , scroll down the list on the right until you find the weight, and change it

Double click on the weight and click OK (it will turn blue)

At this point, simply change the value set weight as in screen , close TES5Edit, and your follower will have the weight you have set

You can practically edit all Health, Stamina, Magicka, Perks, Skill, Armor Rating , Armor weight , Armor type, Enchanting (permanently), Weapon (minimal damage, critical damage, permanently enchanting)

You have old save data with the npc. Some things like weight, outfit and voice type will not update even after multiple new saves and game reloads and npc will need to be fixed with console commands.

WOW, okay, I installed TES5Edit, (what a pleasant app to work compared to ck xD), but on her weight it shows correct it must be what RW311 was saying, my male character had an older version of her at the savedata, since now she shows correctly on my laptop both with male and female characters, however just in case, I lowered the weight and then put it back to normal, but holy f*** thank you so much for this mini guide, this tool is extremely intuitive once you get how it works.

 

Also if you could help me with one last thing.... I would like my character to wear her armor (she uses vanilla vampire armor) when I enter the area, but I don't want the armor to be configured as an outfit (or at least I want it so you can remove it from her inventory like every other item)

Amazing Follower Tweaks

 

With this mod, you can manage followers with dialogues, additional options, including changing their inventory.
The only thing is, that in order to give them personalized equipment, you must first put it in your inventory, then move it to that of the follower, removing the old clothes.

The only thing I have yet to experience is, to see if you can force the follower to make use of specific mods (for example Dibella Blessing , perfect for Naked gameplay)

If you mean you want her to use a different vanilla armour, e.g. leather then you can set that in T5E easy enough. In the screenshot Lestat posted showing where 'weight' is, four boxes down is 'Default Armour'. Double-click on that and you will get a dropdown with all the vanilla gear.

I could use it for my own playthroughs but I don't think it will change the .esp for her to be installed in other computers xD

She uses different armours, what I mean is when I put the vampire armor in her inventory, she only wears it once I ask her to become my follower and we leave the current instance, but when I first meet her she is naked, I want her to wear the vampire armor as her default outfit, but also that the player can remove it from her inventory

It may have depended on this: In the first case (Amy Mie), the follower shows up naked until enlisting

In the second case (Lullaby) the follower is already in the armor assigned to him . To verify that this is the case, simply make the change to the highlighted parameter , adding the desired armor

NEXT STOP: I'll try and make a Standalone Follower with a custom body and a custom armor (that luckily will match her body) and a custom weapon wish me luck xD
