Why so little Final Fantasy mods (or am I just blind)?

I see very little mods for basically any of the Square Enix/Squaresoft Final Fantasy series. I see Dissidia and I think something for XV but I'm curious about older ones. Namely FFVII, FFVIII, FFXIII.

Am I just a complete and utter idiot or does the community just have zero desire to build it?

I've seen quite a few mods for 7th Heaven that seem to have good models to start off with but don't know how to edit them myself. I've been trying to research it but holy crap is modding one huge bunny trail.

If these DO in fact exist I'd appreciate some direction. If they DON'T exist I'd take any info on how to make these myself so I can add it for the community.

Sorry if this is a waste of everyone's time; I tried searching the site and couldn't find my answers.

Perhaps the fact that the majority of FF is on Sony 'consoles', FF sexy stuff has been cultivated in CGI porn. Maybe there would be less (I should stop kidding myself) if the actual games had 'sexy' options.

What are you talking about?!? There are mods for all of those final fantasy games on NexusMods...some 122 just for FF15. You can also find some on ModDB and even the Steam Workshop.

You dont see a great many because there are no official tools and much of the game is LOCKED and not moddable. Everyone is waiting for the promised character and level editors they said they were going to release.
