Dude500X Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VO7BpxdmE88 Anyone else think Facebook addiction is real? Just posted that video as it relates to Facebook.. anyway, this bird has over 5k friends on Facebook, posts outrageous images on it.. thinks of herself as a Facebook celeb for crying out loud. And well, one of em is the baby daddy. Well, anyone else think Facebook addiction is real?
polluxval Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 It is real, not for me luckily (I really hate it) but most of my friends, comrades, family, etc. are pretty much addicted. A friend of mine came from Veracruz (at the other side of where I'm currently located) after 5 years of didn't see each other. He toke my computer and tried to log in to his facebook account after 5 minutes or less of chat. As I have blocked the site to avoid any temptation he got surprised and we argue for hours (taking a couple of beers) about facebook. He was ver sttuborn about defending FB, saying that it is not an addiction and that it was ridiculous someone would ever think about that. I heard a drug addict said exactly the same thing once.
R0R0N0 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I call bullshit, she's just one of the thousand of stupid girls/women who are sprouting up on facebook lately with tons of ass/boob photos that hooks all the men and young teenagers to friend/like/subscribe to these whores. It's just attention seeking at its best. I use facebook as well but I use it as an actual social network to communicate with my classmates so that we can constantly update each other about deadlines, and request assistance on labwork etc.

To communicate beetween classmates and share assistance, etc. But now it became a monster. Zuckerberg its like Dr. Frankestein, but in this case he got millionare.
Emily Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 You makes Emily 'loled so hard polluxval. XD If it was a deviant.art artist popularity competition, it'll make more senses in both vanity, muse and their business.
Jerbsinator Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I use Facebook, I really really wish I didn't have to though. I really want to use Google+ as I hear nothing but good things but nobody uses it. It's tragic really.
dboura Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Yeah its definitely an addiction ... not to mention those damn ville games. I know some people that create tons of accounts just for them and then spend most their free time on FB for it.
Jerbsinator Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Ughh Facebook games are TERRIBLE!!! The only one that has been any good at all was Dead Zone, and that's because it's made by Armor Games, it still has that fucking annoying energy bullshit though.
Cozy Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Dweedle you watch way too much trash television. They always bring on derelicts, and the audience always behaves like trained seals, and good lord this stuff is dangerous for your IQ. Do you have an addiction to trash television? I think we need an intervention. Still you Dweedle. As for facebook? I never bought into it or myspace before it or any of those kinds of sites. For one I don't trust them, secondly why bother sharing every little aspect of your life with a bunch of strangers? For likes? I don't get it... Update:"Toast is good!" 114 likes Comments, Toast ROCKS! I'm eating Toast right now! I like butter on my Toast! Ahhh the intellectual osmosis of social networking sites can make you go brain dead!

Lol I can stop watching Maury anytime I want... I think. Glad to see others think its an addiction as well. I dont think alot of it is about "likes" but more for attention, attention can be abit of a high. Although.. likes is attention isn't it? hmm. I admit, im abit addicted to facebook but not to the length that I will put it above anything important. well.. I suppose I do, but not alot.. well, yeah.. ehehehe... :/
Emily Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Youngsters these days.. They Need lots LOTS of parental hugs.
polluxval Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 That's why I write books and short novels, because when I'm on it, I dont care for what ever happens out there. Well, I only care when a new nice game is out, or a good book, or a movie. Whenever I got the chance, I'll move out to a cabin in the forest taking my cat, my pc and my books only with me.
