just need help on where and to start modding my game with mods from this sight. Just started playing on my sons old xbox. Decided to get a computer and add some spice to my gaming. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Though not the strangest sentence I've ever read on this site it certainly made me laugh.

 

I think you should just Google "Skyrim SE Modding Guide" but take into account how old the guide might be. A lot of the guides were made before things like the Script Extender.

 

Start by getting a Mod Organizer / Installer. Nexus (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition) offers Vortex but it has some issues with where it keeps installed mods (by default in APPDATA which is just an awful place to put it) as well as requiring you to manually install certain parts of a mod regardless, in particular Bodyslide Files

 

Always carefully read every mod author's install instructions and do exactly as it says.

 

To start with https://skse.silverlock.org/ Script Extender as well as "Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch" on Nexus Mods.

 

Since you're here I assume you intend to use Sexlab, so get Sexlab and install everything that it requires, and make sure it shows up and functions in game before proceeding with add-ons. You'll also obviously need nude body mods which are really up to you, there are many types, UNP,  CBBE, ect. for females. You'll also need Schlongs of Skyrim but I honestly can't even say which kind is the best to use. I use the full version but there is a light version. I only came back recently so I don't really recall why there are 2 versions. 

 

 

Also, "Fores New Idles in Skyrim SE" on Nexus is required for basically installing any animations, plus you can add some pretty nice Weapon and Idle animations with it. READ IT CAREFULLY or you will get T-posing. 

 

If you add NEW animations, RUN FNIS. Some mods will also require you to run FNIS after installing them if they come with their own animations.

 

There are probably more versed people in all this but i'm just putting in what I think might help to start with.

i went through this like 3 months ago. i was pointed to this thread to get started. after that, it's up to you as to what you want to explore and experience. some of the primary mods to look at are Devious Devices and Cursed Loot, although Devious Follower and Laura's Bondage are some of my favorites. but again, what your tastes are will determine what you end up looking for. start with that thread first and then post your questions here if any issues or questions (cause trust me, you're gonna have lots lol)
