what im doing wrong

Sexlab 162 is for LE, not SE. Sexlab for SE is 163 beta 8, available in the forum section Sexlab downloads for SE.

The debug spells are not intended for normal gameplay (hint: the name). You should use other mods to trigger sl scenes.

Links and moar info are in the conversion tracking thread and the sl index (check my signature).

i use vortex for modding and used the configure fnis and also have fnis behaviors downloaded. i think its set up. is fnis supposed to appear in the mcm menu?

to rule some things out: skyui is working properly and i have skse64

am i somehow missing the animation pack even though skyrim shows them?

No, you have to use it. Execute the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe as the mod description says. If you don't know what I'm talking about then I guess you haven't done it, which would explain why the animation don't work for you. If you already did this, then you should be able to use it again and copy the text to post it here (ideally with the HKX compatibility check enabled).

sorry, i had no idea for a while there. i disabled skse somehow from vortex and now if i save at all in skyrim, it crashes and all mods that use skse are broke
