Incest Mod Development for CK2

I have lurked on this site for a while, looking for mods to deepen the depravity of my favorite game. I am surprised that there is no "Immersive Incest" mod or similar creation, given the demand clearly shown in other threads on here, and the replies in the Steam workshop. Lets change that, lads. 

 

I hereby offer my skills as a creative writer to anyone interested in developing an incest mod, or expanding a current mod to include incest. I recognize that modding CK2 itself is relatively easy, but generating text boxes and sourcing images can be incredibly time consuming. 

 

My basic idea is to create a series of events specifically tied to being in relationships with close-kin. Examples could be friendship developing into sexual feelings between siblings, a lustful daughter seducing her father, or close-kin lovers asking you not to marry outside the family. My priority is to make generalized events that could trigger for all incestuous pairings, not just those in religions with divine marriage.

I mean, I put together a sort of incest tracker with unique opinion modifier modded in and that gives characters a trait depending on if they are in incestuous relationship and if they ever leave it it gives them a greyed out trait that informs "this character used to be in incestuous relationship with his/her [insert relative]" with lesser special opinion malus (basicaly not the "general opinion" but opinion of those who dont believe religiously in incest or arent degenerates, and it also gives children born out of close incest a trait, all traits are specified on what incestuous relationship it is/was (aside from the born from incest trait, I personally plan on expanding that to differenciate from what form of incest those children were born from) and also aside from homosexual ones (I also plan on expanding that)

atm its kind of feature kreep with weird events for personal use, other stuff people might not associate with it etc, and it is also meant to work with HIP atm, but I could try to clear it out and contribute (the personal weird features and the mod made with HIP in mind is the primary reason why I havent uploaded it here despite me claiming I will for a few months alread, sloth at its best)

wow, thanks so much! I downloaded your mod and it seems to be working as intended, although I didn't exactly do an exhaustive test. But this definitely adds an additional sense of "taboo" to seducing sisters et al. 

 

has pretty good synergy with "seduce anyone" because it adds more risks to building a family harem or whatever your kink happens to be.

Can some one explain to me what allows/restricts marriages, or where I can find that information (Website or Game file). I am trying to make a mod that does two things.

 

1. A  "Incestious" trait that makes characters target close relatives for marriage and seduction.

 

2. Make it so that characters that meet the requirements (Religion, Culture, Bloodline, Traits etc.) can only marry close relatives.

 

Any tips or ideas that may help would be appreciated.
