SureFerret Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 I've been trying to learn how to use the CK in depth before trying to make some mods of my own ... I'm currently trying to learn how to create a custom race using this tutorial : http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_a_custom_race_for_Skyrim But i have spend the last 3 day with a small but really annoying problem ... My Texture Seet seams to ignore my textures other then diffuse for the head. It work fine for the body, but i have been trying to add a full on white specular map to the hade to make it pop out while i test it... NOTHING ! It is starting to really annoy me as this the only thing missing for it to be done. I drew with a blue pen in GIMP on my diffuse and i can confirm that the head displayed is mine but no specular is ever applied. In fact, i'm not sure if any other map is apllied beside the diffuse one. PLZ send help ... Note : If i had another skin texture mod like Bijin Skin for CBBE and select "Wet" option in the fomod, it will be displayed this way for the head but not the body ... i think the head is overwriten by it, but why is the head overwritten and not the body ? If i launch the game and select my race, i will only be able to select the headpart i added to my race, so it is my head, but the texture isn't the correct one. Now i tried other thing and even the diffuse doesn't work anymore, so if someone could should tell me if and how they did it ? Maybe a trick ? Or if i must call the Dark Brotherhood to teach those **** at Bethesda how to make a f***ing software ? And just in case ... this isn't a blakface bug ... i had one when my headparts weren't all made but i solved it.
SureFerret Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 Repeared the diffuse ... but the others aren't displayed as we can see with this magnificent neck seams (the texture are full body and shoudn't have a neck seam) EDIT : Can it be related to tint mask, overlay or other body parts ?
