Issue with nudity/body details in CAS..

Hi, so i have Whicked whims  installed and Whicked perversions etc and suddenly my sims default naked body has no details on it, I have to like manually select them and its annoying. Could it something conflicting with it? I've also used the body selector to reset it and that also makes no difference. I have a lot of  CAS cc stuff so not sure how to go about this

You might have other default body parts or default skins overriding the WW bodies.

(Not always a good idea to use defaults of any cc IMO) (Use non-defaults and you can pick skins in CAS and bodies with the WW body selector).

(With WW Body Selector you have to select the Maxis one to use a default body)

(So if you have more than one default you get problems)

 

Could also be other sex mods blocking them, hard to say without actually seeing your mods folder.

 

You should also delete your localthumbcache file in your TS4 folder whenever adding, removing, or updating mods, or game.

Could also try doing an Origin Repair in case something got corrupted.

 

I use Wild Guys Female Body Details but they aren't defaults so you have to edit every sim in CAS to add them.

MCCC has settings to enable cheats full time, and then set the casfulledit cheat to enable editing sims on the fly in game.

Allows you to just click on a sim, select MC Command Center, and edit in CAS, add or remove sims traits/hidden traits/reward traits, age up, delete, change genders, etc.

Just use any computer in game to play with the MCCC settings.

So much easier to edit sims wit h this mod along with some other good features.

I’m using wild guys stuff and the cmar nude stuff.. I’ve redownloaded them and it’s still not working so really unsure

 

and oh I haven’t been deleting that does it mess the game up I’ve just deleted it now..oops

 

the thing is my sims used to go into cas and I could already have them with a nude body so nooo idea what’s causing the conflict it’s really frustrating

I'd try removing CMAR for more testing until you find the problem.

You might even have duplicate bodies installed.

But at any rate it's likely you have 2 default nude bodies fighting.

 

Look in your TS4 folder for WickedWhimsLog and open it with notepad.

Scroll down quite a bit until you see mention of duplicate files, it should be zero of course.

If not hunt down the dupes and delete them.

If your missing this log file maybe WW isn't installed correctly.

The actual name is WickedWhimsInfoLog.log

Did you ever get WW to work recently?

When WW runs in game it dumps status info into that file in real time.

Yeah it’s working fine I use it a lot, I’ve even updated it etc (deleted old files ofc)

Strange, unless that file is being stored somewhere else.

Can you see any body details when using WW sex in live mode?

Or is it just in CAS they vanish.

Do you have any (BB) Better Bodies files installed?

I did yeah but I’ve  literally removed everything I think may be conflicting, all except the wild guys ones and nothing changed I literally have no idea what to do??

Remove all mods except for WW + Animations and Wild Guys FBD.

Just put them in a temp folder on your desktop for now.

 

Delete your localthumbcache again, I do this a lot.

 

Load the game but only up to the map screen, don't load your household yet.

Do a Save As 'Testing' and exit game.

Now start the game and load that save.

You can then go into your household for more testing.

Don't make any new saves when testing without your other mods installed.

 

See if it works properly now.

Well it’s something in my sims accessories folder but it’s not skins, as I’ve checked. I’ve took that full folder out but no idea what it could be. Could it be clothing? Or make up? I’ve removed all the other stuff

With this crazy game and mods, anything goes.

I assume it worked by removing those mods then.

 

It's not likely normal makeup cc like lipstick, blush, eyeliners, hairstyles, etc.

Clothing is possible but usually just causes sims to have missing torsos or bottoms live in the game.

(Skins are just naked clothing, and I prefer to use skin overlays instead because they don't usually remove makeup or details as much as regular skins do). 

 

Only way left is the hard way by process of elimination.

Add Makeup back into the Mods and retest.

Best to use folders in Mods named Makeup, Skins, Hair, Clothing, etc.

Keep adding back groups or categories until the problem comes back.

Then you know what general area the culprit is in.

Have to then remove that bad category, or group, and add those mods/cc back one or two at a time.

(Checking file dates may give you some clues if they are several years old they might need updating or replacing/deleting).

 

Just have to keep narrowing down the possible bad mod/s by finding out which mods are not causing it.

I’ve tried everything and so far I’ve had a little bit success not much tho, I took the sims stuff out. Used magic bots body details with wild guys stuff, the nipples appeared but bottom half wasn’t...sooo frustrating I’m trying with dumb baby now. Literally no idea what’s happened

Sometimes body details/accessories use the same slots in CAS.

 

And since the latest game patch 1.63 many mods were broken and need updates.

I'd check for Dumbaby updates too.

Yeah I just don’t understand why the automatic nude thing with the details isn’t working now, I’ve removed everything and just put the ones that whicked whims suggested and still nothing

Oh, you do know that Wild Guys FBD no longer works for random game selection since it was last updated.

You should check out his download page for notes.

I'm thinking the feature you're looking for no longer works the same way.

Thought it had to do with the game changing something in a previous patch.

 

Maybe I'm not understanding what exactly it is you are looking for.

But there is no automatic nude thing except for the WW naked body included as default, and it does have details included.

That's it for CAS, Wild Guys details are applied over the top of the WW nude body like overlays but only manually in CAS now.

Yeah I see, so what is causing the body to just be blank with no details? Bcos surely the WW ones has details yeah, but they aren’t showing and I’m about to just delete the whole game ngl I’m so stressed out

Go into your saves folder and move the Wicked** saves folder to desktop.

 

Move WW to your desktop too.

 

Mods folder should be empty now except for a .cfg file.

Yes, that's the whole point of it, it could be slice of life causing it.

 

It 's the reason you're testing with just the game and WW only to see if it's working normal without ANY other mods.

I've been having this issue too. I've seen people say that having body detail CC can cause it, but I've removed literally everything but a single transparent top, and the details still don't show under it

I might be having this problem?

In CAS my male sims have no penis but in game (taking a shower) they do.

It's annoying.

I have default genitals selected in WW.
