Sliders that change all sims?

Is there a way to know if a slider that comes with a CC sim will change all the other sims in a current save?  I have some sims I've downloaded that have sliders, but I haven't used any as I'm concerned they may change all sims.

Usually they are applied on a sim by sim basis.

But if you're worried just back up your saves folder to another location before adding other sims.

Also back up your Tray folder.

 

Keep in mind sometimes downloaded custom sims might use default bodies or skins that could alter all the sims in the game although it's rare.

Some I got before even had things like Wild Guys Female Body Details included which I already have.

Another one had an old version of WW included.

Just check the cc Mods that come with each sim and look for default stuff or other surprises.

Watch out for duplicate cc makeup, hairstyles, clothing, etc., as sometimes they will use some of the same cc on different sims, or you may even have some already.
