mmoore24 Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 I'm looking for a mod similar to Redhead Sims Cas Up Boots/High Heels Slider, except I would like to know if there is a mod out there or even if it is possible to create a mod that lets you adjust the height for each outfit in Cas.
Guest Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 I'm gonna tentatively say it isn't possible since the only time (to my knowledge) where body morph can be different from state to state is vampire dark form. I think the best you could do probably is just setting the tallest heels to be for sexy vampires only. If somebody can prove me wrong on this I'm all for it though.
Oops19 Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 I hope that it can be done. ConolonNutty has a CustomSliderFramework and a OutfitCustomization mod. Mixing both together with a listener for cloth / boot changes should do it. Currently I use S4CL to avoid using the TS4 API directly but debugging stuff in TS4 is a pain.

I was wondering what it would take to add custom heights for other authors shoes not included with your base mod. I have several more authors shoes and it sounds like I should be able to adjust height outside of CAS. Is this possible or am I misreading the documentation? Edited April 25, 2023 by mmoore24 1
Oops19 Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 You need to use the slider cheat command to adjust the height one time. And then you need to save the CAS Part ID (probably all for all colors of the same shoe) to a configuration file. Whenever an outfit change happens the mod looks for the CAS Part ID and applies the configured slider. It's not bound to a specific outfit (like Everyday 1). Using the same shoe for a bathing or cold weather will always have the same slider values applied.
