Nothing but orange tiles.

I've successfully downloaded the files required and they're all in the mods screen, but ingame nothing has changed, all thats different is that i'm spammed with blank orange tiles in the noification tab.

That means that something is seriously wrong.

Do you have any other mods installed? If so, try playing the game with only WickedWhims in your Mods folder. Move all the other mods somewhere else on your computer, delete "localthumbcache.package" found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4", and start the game. If it still doesn't work, make sure that both your game and WickedWhims are up to date (game version: 1.63.something; WW version: v155j).

 

Once you got WW running, add a few of your mod files back into Mods, delete "localthumbcache", start the game, look for the issue. Repeat this, until the issue pops up again.

Once you experience the issue again, close the game, move the last bunch of mods out of your Mods folder again, and add them back in one by one. Remember to delete "localthumbcache" after you made changes to your Mods folder.

This time, the issue showing up again means that the mod you last added is is the cause (well, one cause, to be precise). Search for an update and if none is available, delete the mod and look for alternatives.

Repeat the entire process until all your mod files are back within Mods or have been deleted. There should be no more issues now.
