spell fizzled failed to affect this actor

Having trouble with SL matchmaking, i installed everything correctly, build animation in FNIS, waited the animation to load in the game, but it doesnt work at all, it just showed spell fizzled failed to affect this actor. help!

we might need FNIS log output for any animations problem ,

and Load Order to have a sens of what is in your game for any issue

and of corse the Papyrus log ( does not mean anything by it self but some kind of usefull  to understand things with errors , missings and stack  ) .

Does this happen on any NPC or Just some/one?

 

The message is because the game doesn't think the target is valid.

 

Check this thread (It's not long)

 

MadMansGun gives a bunch suggestions I would recommend looking at and some other posters mention that returning to an earlier save resolve the issue.
