Hello, I've just installed Dawnguard and gotten to level 10 on my nord, and when I got to dawnguard to start the questline I couldn't talk to isran becasue Tolan would agro me and make Isran also agro me, I have no bounty in any hold nor am I a Vampire or Werewolf, can someone help me please? I've been looking for a fix for some time know and can't find one :(

EDIT:

I found a way to start the quest awakening, I just stood in the back and let them talk to each other and the quest started, Isran walked up to me and talked first, then he went back to the center and so did tolan, but he hadn't noticed me, if I'm not mistaken he will die in this quest, am I right?

Tom:  Your method works if you are a werewolf and trying to start the Awakening quest.  Hide in back and let Isran come to you.  Sometimes you may have to leave and reenter, but as long as Tolan doesn't notice you, you're fine.  Once he leaves then you can move about the castle normally.  Tolan will walk by you when he leaves (if you are hiding by the door), so it's also a good idea to have a potion of invisibility as well (I used it while he was walking out and he passed right by).

There is a theory that it has to do with certain allegiences.  For example, just being a werewolf doesn't matter, but using a mod like Werewolf Mastery (which is what I use) can cause this issue IF you have the setting set to make wolves/werewolves not attack (basically puts you in the werewolf/wolf factions).  This is what is probably keying the Vigilents to attack.  I assume being part of the vampire faction may cause this as well - not sure what (if any) mod may put the player in that faction without actually being a vampire, but either one of these could be the source of your problems. Do you have any mods that make wolves companions?  It may be a mod like that that is putting your player in one of the Vigilant-unfrienly factions...
