Yes and no. This is one of the known issues with the moan module in versions past 3.9:

Any custom species won't moan or emote properly even with the proper patch due to the way it prioritizes using species.patch methods found within the species folder in the API. Basically, this new method seems to overwrite the old one instead of being compatible, thus why i'd recommend just rolling back the whole module. You can just go to the sexbound files, in the older versions (Can't remember if pre-3.9 or if 3.9 is included but yeah) and just copy the whole module from scripts/sexbound/plugins/moan/ and paste it over in the same location in a newer version.

This is sadly not a good solution, and not the best one, but it gets the job done. I've already looked into it, but i haven't been able to find the reason behind it other than it just decides not to work with the old methods... So i am sorry to not be able to provide a fix, Locuturus might be able to fix this in a later update.
