Sorrowblade Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 This is a mod I found many years ago on the Nexus. I remember it having a strange name - perhaps german words? I don't remember unfortunately. The mod gave you two urns (I think Silver Urns?) and you would drop them on the ground and activate them while sneaking. While sneaking, they would be like containers ; one, you put an item you want the appearance of, and the second one, the item you want the stats of (durability, damage etc). Then you stand up and activate them again, and they "merge" the item you want, creating a single weapon with the appearance of one and stats of the other. I know it's a tough shot, but anyone has any idea of what mod that was?
tolerance Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/43785 not sure this is the same one, hell i think there is even another one called like deadric heart box or something i swore i remember having maybe this https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/39474 or this https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/30530 but i don't know why you would want extra scripts clogging such a delicate game, when you can just change the modal file paths in the construction set, not judging though

fejeena Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 Changing in CS is not good if you want to use a vanilla weapon. You will change all vanilla weapons. If you find a warhammer with great durability and damage but you want to use a vanilla elven dagger. The Mod should only change the dagger you put in the container, not all vanilla elven daggers in game. It's like making enchanted weapons, amors, clothes , you get one new unique item in game. And " do it in game" like enchant a weapon is the reason to use such a Mod. ------------------- Change durability and damage in a weapon Mod you have installed ( no vanilla ) in CS is easy. Or better use TES4Edit. If you have a Mod ( weapon or armor ) and you don't like the stats , and you know that you will never use it like it is, it would be stupid do change it in game with every new character you play. Then of course you change the mod. But when you explore a Mod with world, find new weapons, get quest reward weapons , you can merge a weapon you want. Or you never change your weapon, you use the first dagger you find in the start dungeon and "level it up"
