NekoSchrodinger Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 So, usually when modding it's the person using the mods who has to experience the possible crashes, bugs and other inconsistencies and then slowly iron out all the issues (if possible) until the experience becomes seamless. Except in the case of me and my friend, we're going through a vanilla playthrough before doing any heavy modding. And because I'm the kind of dumbass who's bound to not properly check what's wrong between mods, I need some advice or, proofreading? On the current mods I have prepared for the eventual modded run. This seems like a weird request I know, but I can't exactly do a backup of the current vanilla build, shove in the mods and go through start to finish to see what could possibly go wrong and then remove the mods and resume the vanilla run. ( I could, but eh. ) These are all the SxB related mods that will be added to the pack for now unless something new comes out that's interesting. We have no intention to download any additional custom races. I have already made a few changes to customize and avoid possible conflicts occurring especially with Cutebound after looking through the forums, here's what I've done thus far to prepare this pack. - Made SxB's default head default to Cutebound's heads and deleted Cutebound's Avian changes to prevent inconsistency between Harpy and Avian forms when starting a sequence. - Made SxB's Defeat Pregnant NPCs non-immortal ( I have no idea if this could be extremely bad. ) - Replaced SxB's default female bodies with Bigger Busts 1.0.6. - 'DEPAK THIS' will be removed later, as it's the SxB SFX Improvements which I will selectively extract so that custom changes (like Expanded Dialogues *thanks Rylasasin, red3dred and the others who contributed to it for preparing such a thing beforehand.* ) and configs won't get overwritten. There will be other non-NSFW mods added to this pack like Frackin Universes later on, but after diving through forums I've heard there shouldn't be an issue with it. The other mods will be inconsequential stuff that won't conflict with SxB. If there are any dependencies I'm missing, conflicts I haven't heard of or any additional mods that should be added, do let me know in this thread. Any help is greatly appreciated so me and my friend's first start into modded won't come crashing down in a blaze of error logs.
NekoSchrodinger Posted June 11, 2020 Author Posted June 11, 2020 So nothing crashed and burned immediately, but there were a few glaring issues. - The picture above - Sexbound Stats show no change even after interactions with both male/female/monster - Infinite Pregnancy | After being impregnated once, a prompt occurs will asks if I want to give birth, even after giving birth the 'Pregnant' status effect remains and my character can still continue giving birth without pause. - Sexbound Defeat immortality ( common problem I know ) - Terratophilia supported monsters using Defeat dialogue for some reason. >sees a Poptop speaking in human - Sexbound Dialogue also wasn't playing during scenes with humans. - Moans don't apply to custom races, how do I do that exactly? Everything's stable otherwise, I might've fucked something in a config file somewhere but I don't know. Also, no crashes thus far.

So, there's a ton of work going on right now regarding ironing out mods, and sadly, a lot of these issues are known and in the works to be fixed. Sadly, nothing is in a releasable state yet, as every time someone touches the pregnancy plugin, something else breaks. You either give birth to infinite babies, or no babies. Sexbound Customizer also doesn't actually customize anything. That's normal. Otherwise, i can safely say, the expanded dialogues are in no shape to be used, they will cause dialogues to not be loaded. Why, you may ask? Well, the dialogue files are mostly copy-pasted in a rush and have several formatting errors, and lose data sometimes, that shouldn't be in there. Anyhow, your setup is mostly okay, but there maybe problems between Tweaker and base-API if you add a pregnancy in-between installing and removing the mod.
NekoSchrodinger Posted June 11, 2020 Author Posted June 11, 2020 So, my best bet is to just disable pregnancy entirely then? And it would be better for me to remove Expanded Dialogues from Sexbound and just fall back on the original dialogue options? For some reason all of the base dialogue do not play except for doggystyle, neat.

And well, disabling pregnancy would certainly prevent a wall of problems.
