Copying face preset from mod

I am trying to get the face preset from this mod, and I tried to do the usual (going into the chargen folder and getting the {follower_name}.jslot/nif/whateverextension file), but I noticed it doesn't exist. The only thing I found was a folder with the follower's name, and then a bunch of .nif/tri files and I don't know what I'm supposed to do with them.

If there is something I'm doing wrong or missing, I would love to learn about it. Thanks!

If the LE version is the same as the SE version, you should be able to get the face preset this way:

Navigate to: Meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\Daedric Bitchs.esp

You should see three nif files, if not then you've not installed the hair patches correctly:

0001EC64.nif

00002F99.nif

00005E4B.NIF

Copy and paste them into:

SKSE\Plugins\CharGen

This video shows how to import the head:

You will want to add the mask around the neck like they did also. It is to prevent a gap around the neck.

Ohhhh I see! I was trying to get it from "00 - Core". I am so dumb. The preset seems to be fine, that's perfect! Now I need to make the hair work right. As you said, the hair patches are missing. Do you know where I could get SG hair? Apparently it's gone.

If you are using it as a preset, you can use any hairstyle you want, it doesn't have to be SG hairs. If another recent thread is to be believed it can't be shared publicly.

Yeah, that's my issue. I also wanted the same hair because let's be honest, it looks dope haha. I guess I will have to go mod scavenging and see if I can find/convert it.

One thing I would like to know, what's the difference between loading the preset via sculpt or via "face editing"? Are these two files located in different locations?

Thanks for the help so far, I really appreciate it!

Not sure I understand the question, what do you mean by face editing? Using the racemenu sliders to adjust the face or making changes via the sculpt tool?

Yeah sorry I don't fully understand how it works, so I am bad at explaining myself.

The thing is, I had to import the .nif via importing on the sculpt tab, but sometimes, I have a .jslot file that I import through the sliders tab. What is the difference between these two?

I wouldn't say there is much of a difference. They both end up at the same outcome, if anything the nif is better as you have what I'd consider the original to work with, where as the jslot is a file with all the tweaks recorded within it.

Going back to masking the neck to prevent a neck gap, I'm not sure how you'd resolve that with the jslot preset.

For future reference, if someone wants to do the same as me and hope it helps another lost soul:

The hair is a mix of SG's hair pack (HairFemaleSGwildsoul, SG hair pack has been wiped, but after searching it is findable) and Astaroth Horns. The mod I posted has the hair that si a combination, but it was fcked for me, so I just mix and matched. It also benefits in you not requiring a helmet!

An alternative I found that looks fantastic is these horns. You can set them as sliders (facial hair, under hair tab) and they have higher res and look much better overall.

I couldn't find the character's eyes, and can't match the skin colour (it's white, while The Pure has some kind of blonde/pink-ish colour?).

Hair colour was hard to match, but you need blue as a base (skyrim's base colour is blonde, so you can't go pure white, at least in my case). Here's what I got and consider to be "close enough".

Besides that, it's just tweaking lip colour, eyeliner and such. Once I manage to get the eyes (idk why the mod says they're from The Eyes of Beauty, but can't find them in the mod) and skin colour it will be finished!

nif and sculpt give you just the head. jslot and preset give you the complete NPC (head and body).

For those interested, I made a small thingy to make horns craftable and equipable for heavy/light armor versions, so they can be used during gameplay and benefit from some perks.

If anyone has any idea about how I could make my character's skin pale and where I can find those vampire-ish eyes, I'd really appreciate it!

I'm on SE and I can't find the files in my sculpt tab I inserted these files into my chargen folder but the only ones appearing in there are the ones with a DDS File to go along with

0001EC64.nif

00002F99.nif

00005E4B.NIF
