ReMeDy Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I don't know if I'm the only one with this issue, but when I use an idle that has my leg protrude slightly out - like the Castanic Tera idle - if I have a dagger holstered, it cuts through my leg. Yes, changing the idle does solve the issue (and there are custom idles out there that work with daggers), and yes using a different weapon helps, but argh I don't want to stop using this awesome idle or stop using daggers just because of a clipping issue. Does anyone have any other options, like mods that switch the positioning of the dagger (ex. similar to a sword on hip), a weapon-body collision mod, or other awesome idles?
gregathit Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 You can fix the weapon placement by opening the idle in blender or 3dsMax.
ReMeDy Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 You can fix the weapon placement by opening the idle in blender or 3dsMax. I've got version 2.49b of Blender. Would that work, or does it need to be higher, since I know Skyrim had Blender issues upon its release.
polluxval Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 you could use xp's skeleton that put the dagger on the back. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26800
ReMeDy Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 you could use xp's skeleton that put the dagger on the back. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26800 Precisely what I was looking for. Many thanks!
uk33 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 You could also use the skeleton fix from Ladybody to put 1h weapons on the back and daggers on the right leg below the knee.
