weaselheart Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 Salvador is the actual spanish version of "Salvatore"... Nobody born in spain to spanish parents is called Salvatore... Literally not a singular one... Remember, Salvador. Spain and Italy, believe it or not... 2 different countries, 2 different languages. Its a matter of language structure, since Salvatore/Salvador mean "Savior" in Italian and Spanish respectively, its one of those names that is an actual word. If you want a little more actual accuracy, i´d suggest you either turn the spanish boy into an italian, or change his name to Salvador. Source: Someone from Spain. 2

Sorry, I kinda get that name idea from Lana Del Rey's Honeymoon album. That song gave me cinematic, romantic, Spanish vibe that it made me forget to dig some research. ? No prob, it is normal for everyone to get words and names from foreign countries wrong if they don't know the language or culture that well, remember, it is Salvador, with a D. Like Salvador Dalí, like the famous surrealist painter. I get that in english that D might sound a bit like a T, since we pronounce even letters so differently, but it is a D. He actually reminded me of Roma Gallardo, a youtuber, it is not so much that they look alike, but reminded me of him for some reason. There's a surname/family name if you wanted to give him one. OpheliaSim Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Well, not to be annoying but the italian guy (version 1 he's really south of Italy, version 2 is more north of Italy and I thank you for that) but the surname should be Marrone (literally Brown) to sound more italianish. I love them though and I think it's really hard to portrait people/sims from a different country/ethnicity, you did a good job ❤️ 1
