korbe Posted May 29, 2020 Posted May 29, 2020 Hello Sims fan friend! i'm having an issue with microsoft edge that is completely un-related but everyone here is so nice i thought since i hang here alot maybe i can get more help than i can from google.! If you know nothing about microsoft edge don't waste ur time, if you do gimme a moment to explain my issue. i just updated yesterdayt & now it seems to be auto clearing my browsing history immidiately so it doesn't light up the title to links i've already visited. This is so frustrating! Especially here at this forum where its nice to have titles of mods i already looked at lit up! its a snowball in hell shot but maybe one of you angels can nail this one & help me out! if so, thank you! Here's a vid that visually explains what i mean & how i tried to fix it but it failed.
RUASim21 Posted May 29, 2020 Posted May 29, 2020 A couple of ideas because I have not had this experience with Edge. 1. Go back into the "Clear browsing data" and check the drop down menu where in the video it says "last hour" and see if there is a "never" option. I have cleared my browser history before, but it was the whole history from at least a year, so I would check that. 2. If you frequently visit the same sites, I'd just create a favorite's folder for The Sims Mods or something like that. I have one for all the TS4 sites I visit and I put all the official mod sites there like WW, BMD, MCCC, etc... 3. Last resort, delete Microsoft Edge and try downloading it again or go back to the previous version. Sorry I can't be of more help.
