Xavier19870828 Posted May 27, 2020 Share Posted May 27, 2020 Hi there, currently I am trying to make a fallout 4 clothing mod. but I met some problem which I don't know how to solve. The issue is that there are some odd shades appear on my clothing, I guess it is due to some problem with my normal map's but I am not sure about it. What make me confuse is the textures work well on substance and Blender but when its been imported in Outfit studio the issues comes up. In the game, the problem seems to be more serious. one thing worth to mention is that even I didn't apply the textures map on the OBJ in Outfit Studio, the odd shade will comes up either. but this doesn't happen in Blender or in Substance. I've attached some screeshots, I hope someone can help me get this done PS: I use Marverlous Design, substance, Zbrush and blender to create the clothing Link to comment
SQr17 Posted June 2, 2020 Share Posted June 2, 2020 Look like your mesh normals might be incorrect. Try recalculating them in Outfit Studio or in Nifskope. Link to comment
