UNP Clothing to CBBE conversion getting neck/arm seams

Due to the lack of some of my favorite armor mods being converted to CBBE for Skyrim SE I decided to get my hands dirty with Outfit Studio and try to convert it myself. So I started with this armor mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/86683 and followed the OS conversion guide at https://github.com/ousnius/BodySlide-and-Outfit-Studio/wiki/Creating-a-BodySlide-project but there are a couple issues and questions I have ...

1. After converting the outfit to CBBE I get seams at the neck and arms and I don't know how to fix them. I've read something about using gerra6's mesh rigger tools. Are these the right ones here: https://kgtools.wordpress.com/mesh-rigger/?

2. The shirt texture becomes transparent when looking from some angles at it in-game. And is generally way too dark. I did convert the textures properly for SSE but there seems to be something in the NIF that causes this transparency.

3. Question: At creating a new OS project I chose the UNP Low to CBBE conversion template. Is this the right choice? Because there is another option for UNP high and I'm unsure which is the right one.

EDIT: I have at least fixed the issue #2 now by building the meshes through BodySlide instead of exporting them from OS. But the neck/arms seams are still there.

EDIT 2: Tried to get the mesh rigger working. It says it requires Python 3.4 but PyFFI only support up to 3.3 and obviously skips some parts during installation due to that. Mesh Rigger still could be started but if I follow the instructions it doesn't create any resulting Nif file.
