Infinite starting loading screen

When I start the game now, the very first loading screen before the main menu is basically infinite and idk why. I can't get to the main menu and start the game. Engine Fixes custom memory allocator doesn't help either and neither does the animation limit crash fix.

 

The most recent mods I turned on were various creature related mods (MNC, ABC, AnimalSOS with ABC patch, creature framework and various animations from Anubs, Nibbles, Billyy, SailingRebel and K4) as well as Sexlab Confabulation (ported some patches to SSE as I have ported ESF Companions for personal use) and after that it went off the rails. I use Nemesis for human animations and FNIS for creature animations (because CGO is pretty nutty). Even without the aforementioned Sexlab mods, it still takes a huge amount of time to load.

 

Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know of a way to fix this?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I suspect that using both Nemesis and fnis at the same time is probably a bad idea at this point.

As far as I know, they apparently work together provided you delete the human animations from FNIS, keeping the creature animations only and then using Nemesis to generate the human animations. That's what I went by.

Having worked on solving the issue, I went full FNIS and I still can't get it to work. When testing with a small load order, it apparently works fine but the moment it becomes large again and I can't get to the main menu like before. This includes esp fe files of which I have a huge amount. Even when cutting down the number of mods in MO2, it still takes forever and I've yet to enter the main menu.

Wait omg, it's actually working now. I removed Sexlab Confabulation and it's patches as well as Sexlab Solutions (which is a strange one because it's always worked before? I'll try turning it on again later) and I made it to the main menu!

Maybe try eliminating animation packs 1 by 1 then until you find the culprit?

sexlab solutions definitely wouldn't cause this issue unless there is a conflict but I would doubt that.

Yeah, I think that seems to be the case because Solutions has never been an issue before. The animation packs I'm using haven't really been problematic before either because they usually don't exceed an amount of anims that's hazardous to your game. My reasoning as to why I removed Confabulation and Solutions is that they are kinda similar but Solutions is a mod I've used for a long time and Confabulation is very recent and removing the latter seems to have done the trick but I'll have to confirm it later.

 

Edit: Solutions Revisited (the one I'm using, forgot to specify) is working wonderfully and my load times in-game are really fast now for some reason. My game is working without issues right now which makes me overjoyed ^^

Could be this

problem.

 

Short version: many mods that add content, new areas/maps/dungeons or change existing areas/maps/dungeons. And are ESP, normal mod. If its ESM(master), its less of a problem.

 

Its the same for LE and SE version.

 

Had that. I removed some mods(didn't like them anyway) and converted a couple to ESM. In my case HammetDungeons was the "biggest". Its "new area, map" type of mod. Not armor or weapon or anything else.
