Gregores Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 So I just finished building my first major mod load order (255 mods), and can't get Sky UI to show my toon naked in the creation screen, so I can make his Schlong with SOS. All the SOS sliders show up, but I can't see what's going on because my toon still has the shitty starting clothing on! How do I resolve this? I don't want to just randomly slide sliders blindly. Any help wopuld be greatly appreciated as I am kinda' computer challenged ( surprised I made it to 255 mods and stable!). Also, is there a way I can make his schlong after I'm done creating him? Is there some way to get back into that creation screen and make his schlong without having to start all over again?
anjenthedog Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 If you need to modify body features using racemenu, strip your player/follower/whomever before starting racemenu
Gregores Posted May 21, 2020 Author Posted May 21, 2020 I don't see a way to open up the racemenu, even though I have it installed?
anjenthedog Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 open the console (hit "~") type showracemenu hit the "~" once more to return to the game (that is, to return control to the game screen control overlay) now you can use racemenu That is, presuming it's installed and working. There are also MCM ways (Provided by various mods) to get to racemenu... for instance I have a couple of player homes that include "Mirrors" that you can use to directly open racemenu, but using console to open it is easy as long as you know what to do. ....And it's good to become familiar with console commands if you're not already. (which I kinda presume is the case here) , because they not only "come in handy", but sometimes they are almost required (some quests fail unexpectedly, and some of these failures can be overcome using console commands. Also, changing your body weight, or your carry weight , adding bulk items (say for instance you need a bunch of firewood and just don't give a hoot for "I dint earn it!", it's quite easy to use player.additem (some item id) 100 ), etc etc... There are a myriad of uses for console, both to accomplish "cheats" like gifting yourself a hundred pieces of firewood, as well as to solve real issues like when a quest stage gets corrupted or some script goes wonky (I remember early on, for about a week, my player avatar was dragging around that flame tail that Flame astronachs (sp) have, due to some glitch....a console command got rid of it. Also got "Draghur eyes" once. console saved me.) but I digress.... In addition, make sure you have the plugin(s) that allows modding the associated body type for CBBE, UUNP, BHUNP, or 3BBB as required by your use. (I actually havee CBBE,, 3BBB, BHUNP, and UUNP plugins) That is, if you use CBBE, make sure that plugin is in place (check your plugins section in whichever mod manager you use) . If you use 3BBB Advanced, make sure its racemenu plugin is installed, etc., etc. And finally... (and somewhat critically), when creating or modifying body, armor, clothing, etc in Bodyslide, make sure that you check the "build morphs" checkbox prior to building the element, (body, armor etc), since the "tri" file it produces is required for realtime modification within racemenu good luck! the racemenu (morphs) plugin names I have installed are as follows: 1) racemenumorphsbhunp.esp 2) racemenumorphscbbe.esp 3) racemenumorphsuunp.esp 4) 3bbb-racemenumorphs.esp what each acts on should be self evident from the names. In case that helps to identify yours. - edited for a typo and added some content
