Townies have no faces

Right, I'll try to explain this as best as I can. I have started a new game that uses cc. Started the detective career, turned up at the station and most of the npcs have no face (their teeth and hair is there but nothing else) All Sims that either I have created or have been added by expansion packs are absolutely fine so it's only the randomly generated Sims that have no face. I looked up a few methods to try and fix this, and so far I have tried:

 

-Disabling and removing all mods and deleting the cache files along with them.

-Disabling the Batch Fix I made in S4S.

-Repairing TS4 via Origin.

-Starting a new game after doing all of the above.

 

So far nothing has worked. I do not have any mod that alters eyelashes in any way (That one seems to be the usual suspect it seems!) In fact I don't think I have any cc that alters faces in any way! Is there something that I'm missing that I should also try?

Try uninstalling the game. That will make the problem go away.

I had this same issue, but with sims that were wizards or whatever when they aged from children to teens. Not sure what the cause is on your game. I had to remove any occult assignments to my sims via MCCC and aged them up or else they'd be faceless monsters.

Hiya! 

I had this problem a while ago too, the ea teeth begone mod was one culprit as it replaces the head mesh, 

I'm guessing that something is conflicting with the tongue as that also works this way, 

I think that I had disabled cc for townies and that caused my problems, I also read that default eyes can be affected too, 

Somehow I removed the culprit but townies still appeared faceless, but I can shift click and enter CAS to fix them and it holds, 

Chances are you maybe solved it already but having to fix them manually same as me ??

Tried it. Temptation to come back is too much though! ?

I had a funny feeling you would respond! ? I kinda fixed the problem using the manual CAS method. It fixes most of the problem, however there are a few outfits that you can't edit (as far as I'm aware) like the orange jumpsuit that the prisoners wear at the police station, thus when the random townies wear them their faces disappear again.

 

EDIT: Wait I get you now. You just allowed npcs to use cc but then just edited it off of them whenever it showed up in a ridiculous fashion. Clever! A long and tedious process but I suppose it would do the job well enough. Cheers! ?
