Stuck in cryo pod

I'm using the alternate start mod "Start me up". I choose the option to be a Vault 111 Dweller without being Shaun's parent. Everything goes fine, until the scene where Kellog shoots Shaun's parent. When I hear "Crygenesis reinitialising", nothing happens and I'm stuck in the pod. My HUD tells me to "E" to activate the pod, but that doesn't do anything.

 

I've started several new games, but the same issue persists.

 

Can anyone help me, please?
