Racemenu CBBE sliders stopped working

I did not install any new body mod besides textures, and yet the ingame sliders stopped working.

Yes, i have ticked the morph option in  the bodyslide exe, but to no avail...

I am trying to use SMP body, by the way


Ok, i think bodyslide is not applying body i build ingame and i do not know why..

Ok, i think bodyslide is not applying body i build ingame and i do not know why..

As for me,, sometimes it suddenly happen..  (not apply any BS tri data, in game, with RM (or EFF cosmetic menu)

And do not know, if my way will solve your issue or not. 

 

if you use recent  SSE engine fix.  , in enginefix.ini  ,  set memory patch as false. 

 

There is case,, even though I keep using memory patch,, BS data up-date in game,,(with RM for PC and cosmetic menu for NPC) still work

but it often suddenly stop for other NPC, or when I change clothing for the NPC (of course all mesh generate tri, include in CBBE (or 3bbb)

 

 if I set enginefix.ini not use memory patch,, I never see the issue.  

why the setting may effect,  LM or skee seems use cash to load slider data, then it sometimes stop working, with memory patch

engine fix offered,  I suppose so.

I checked in SSE engine fixes ini, but there's nothing about a memory patch. How is it called exactly, if you remember it?

If you did not know memory patch setting,  I suppose, the ini keep as default.. then it is set as "false" anyway,

you need to see last section, there are 

 

[Experimental]

you only need to set

MemoryManager = "false" (I suppose it is default)

 

then,, I may confirm

1.  test with PC as nude, (without clothing),  and check the body will change  with slider in RM t.

if it work for nude,,but not work when you wear armor,, etc,,,   you may better ,re-gerenate armor (and cloth mesh) with tri again.

if your armor not have tri ,,(or it is not compatible, for BS, or you did not generate tri fro armor meshes,)

 when you wear these armor,, BS CBBE slider  not work anymore. (though you can still edit node scale, or tatoo etc,,)

 

2   to CBBE slider work, you need to activate RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp,, (the esp is for RM CBBE slider ) so confrim it in your mod manager.

 

3.  some case,, if you test with new game data  it solve issue. but if it only work with new  data,, I can not find way to solve your issue.

(maybe you  try clean save tool for those save data,, but I do not think it solve  your issue.)

 

For me,, the engine fix ini setting was what slove the issue (it was really annoying,, for me,, I have try manythings,, then suddenly it stop often)

 

4. I may check SKEE.ini too. (in RM mod pack)

bEnableBodyMorph=1

 

and in 

[General]

section,

I  may change 

uBodyMorphMemoryLimit=0 ; Default[256000000]

(though I do not recommend to keep it as 0, but it sometimes suddenly load morph again in game)

So just for quriosity, I changed my default setting , Enginefixes.ini.  after reply this topic.

as

 

MemoryManager = "true"  (so now, it Use OS Allocators, not skyrim default memory manager)

 

it worked yesterday for some NPC around pc in the cell ,, but I supposed (because I have experienced same things), it will stop sooner or later.

(though it  show more stablility to load game, about IFL etc)

 

Today,, I open the save data, then go another place,  call one follower and try to tweak the body, with Racemenu (I use manipulator to call tatoo menu)

but it not work any -more.  like this pic

As I said I have seen same problem, again and again,, and I already know what cause issue (at least for me).  then save the scene. 

and open the Enginefix.ini,,  and change , MemoryManager = "false"

 

load the same data, which I saved above, keep the parameter value.  now it work again suddenly.

So I recommend with confirm.  if you saw problem about BS morping in game (with tri)

First,,  check your enginefix.ini setting   , and return MemoryManager = "false" and see if it solve your issue.

If it work for outfits (witch you generate with tri ), I think the prolbem caused by   body meshes. 

So you said "SMP body", but what actuall name of the mod, and what option you choosed to install?

is it CBBE SMP body?    I only use the body once or twice, so not clear remember, about CBBE SMP body,

 

I recommend, if it only happen with CBBE SMP, once try default CBBE with physics option. (of course generate tri form BS, and locate

body mesh correctly)

 

then if you can change NPC and PC body shape by CBBE slider,, it seems CBBE SMP specific.

(Any body which offer new slider, may need to add individual racemenu plugin , UUNP, CBBE< 3BBB etc.

I do not know about CBBE SMP  racemenu plug in. (So if it work with CBBE racemenu plug in or not)

or it offer individual racemenu plug in etc..

 

I may open the body nif, which currently used for female NPC (default races),  and check the string data path for BS tri )

and may confirm actually there is tri file in the path.

 

And do you test with PC female, or NPC female?  if it not work for NPC which use custom race, to assgin original body, and mesh,

you need to overwrite them. (though I think you already know and confirm those things)

Yes, it happened with CBBE SMP, so i then tried with CBBE PHYSICS and CBBE SPECIAL, but it's the same.
I tested this with PC Female.....
Body physics work with outfits too

which mod manager you using now ?  then if you use MO2,, go to  right pane, 

 

then select, Data tab.  extract the mesh directory, then  serch "meshes\actors\character\character assets"  

you may find femalebody_0.nif, femalebody_1.nif, and femalebody.tri.

 

and you may find mod name, which currently overwite others about these  loose file. (for PC and NPC female body, and tri)

 

 

with my pic, I usually make new mod, which only include body mesh, and tri, then force it ovewrite other mod offer body mesh, and tri.

(then BS will auto overwrite,, when I build with Mo2)

Important things, is  when you generate CBBE bodys from BS, with tri morph,  these 3 files need to overwrite othes.

(BS may generate meshes, in overwrite directory,, or just overwrite file in mod, it depend on your BS setting, 

and change if you  use Ctrl opton or not) , after all, you need to confirm your generate files overwrite others, and it is used for current PC female body

 

If you can confirm it,, check in plug-in section (of your mod manager) , then confirm you have RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp is active (on)

as for me, I mix use 3bbb (as main), so I need to activate 3bbb-racemenuMorphs.esp too. but your cause,, I suppose CBBE SMP will work

with RaceMenuMorphCBBE.esp too.  (at least CBBE special, or physics body can worik with the plug-in for RM)

 

Finally,  check if you had installed old loose script files or  plug in whch may conflict recent RM

eg  nioverride.dll  now it need not.. (change as SKEE64.dll)

 

and script files, whch included in Racemenu.BSA,    chargen.pex, nioverride.pex, etc. 

 

if you have those  files as loose, in your data,  delete them. form data/scripts  and re-install RM (recent version) again.

(then if you are using ECE with RM, I suggest, at least untill you can manage with RM only , un-activate ECE

, actually there is way, to mix use or exchange when you need, (ECE and RM) but at least to BS slider work,, only use RM is most stable.

 

so I usually make 2 profile for ECE only and RM only,  then for Game I mainly use RM profile without ECE.

 

 sometimes I tried to mix use them to make character as I like,  but it make difficult to find problem when I see BS data trouble)
