qazwsx Posted April 25, 2020 Author Posted April 25, 2020 I did some testing and actually any of the skeleton from Xilandro's mods, as well as the one from the One Man Army mod all break facial morphs. I don't know how no one on Nexus has noticed, because it's not just sex, vanilla things like eating and drinking also stop working. But for some reason blinking, and npc dialogue are unaffected. One of the most perplexing modding puzzles I've encountered.
Guest Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 I think it's because they use a different approach to expressions in the engine. dialogues use something related to mfg, while idles call a morph using the skeleton, hence if the skeleton miss some of those then animations won't trigger facial expressions. If you want to double check if it's true, you can use FEEL to trigger a facial morph, these use MFG so they should work. I can give you a temporary skeleton which works with xilandro but not with one army man, or you can wait some days and the new one will come out.

There are other mods that do the same thing without having to modify the skeletons. Armed to the teeth and Grenade key https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/58171. I think I prefer it as well because Quickthrow removes part of the animation like lighting dynamite and pulling the pin. One man army is arguably superior to attt in it's implementation and compatibility, but Attt has the advantage of consistent weapon placement and 2 rifles. Xilandro's mods often unnecessarily complicate things, just like with diagonal movement there is another skeleton free version of it by someone else.

Do you have a skeleton that works with BB, Sexout and Weapon Inertia? When I use the skeleton provided by Weapon Innertia, by breasts go haywire when switching to FP Ironsight aiming.

Because Xilandro's diagonal movement uses scripting and a JIP function which uses a specific bone in the skeleton, while that other mod is made in C++ and there are not many programmers who can do stuff like that unfortunately
