Took me a while to understand the basics but I think I got it going all right. Took care of a weird CBBE issue I had before.  HOWEVER! I finally reached Diamond City. Scripted events playing out nice and well, can walk around into houses (and yes I could also enter DC without issues). I can save - but I can't load that save from within the city walls, the game just straight up crashes. All working, even as far as 2 minutes back in the fences (just after 1st mayor conversation). - Resetting config files (hate doing it but oh well). No change. - checking system / user ppi set to 100% (confirmed to possibly cause issues if not) - Loot. Yes. ...nope. - Cleaning mods. I do have 2 mods with ITMs and that is AWKCR and Armorsmith extended. Afaik none of them are game breaking (as AWKCR is also confirmed by author for VR usability). Might be an issue because Loot said cleaning of DLC is advised. - Cleaning Save game. So far it's at 16MB and only 8 hours in. Still did it, no change. - Logs. Regular logs don't show anything. Can you enable a F4SE logging somehow?   While it's not gamebreaking (as I can still run around and do stuff and just not save inside DC), it's still annoying and I would like to find a cause for this.   Other stuff: AWKCR, crafting workbenches and crafting Overhaul make a mess of crafting. Is there a more lightweight overhaul that keeps stuff like concealable armor? VIS is making a mess of my load order without even having patches for everything. Is there a good alternative that covers EVERYTHING with the same categories and icon support?   Thanks in advance! Â

Settler Sandbox Overhaul.esl I've used the .esp version for a long time and only upgraded when I reinstalled the game. I've had the idea when I experienced a fast travel crash to Sanctuary on a new playthrough with only the 5 idiots in town and nothing built. I think something in there might cause hiccups in that file, because when I removed I could load both into Diamond City on an old save (see above) as well as fast travel into Sanctuary on the new character. I'll keep monitoring this until my final verdict but here's a good chance.
