Isn't there even a boat to access the castle (or maybe there is but from a distance the game doesn't charge me)? However, as soon as I get off the coast and I approach the sea the CTD game. If I go anywhere else the game works normally!

If I go anywhere else the game works normally! A CTD in the same location is almost always caused by a bad texture/mesh added by a mod. I suspect that yours is the exception. Most mod authors assume that the players using their mod have all the DLC. My guess is that the author of one of your mods assumes that it is going to find something in that location that is not there now. That acts, effectively, as trying to put in a bad texture/mesh. So, you can go through your mods and look for the one that is causing this issue. You can try cleaning all your mods using TES5Edit (in the hopes that this was something that was not essential to the mod). Or, you can get all the DLC like the rest of us.
Balmung889 Posted April 20, 2020 Author Posted April 20, 2020 My Skyrim is 100% original. Resolved. The problem was a texture pack! Later I will try to download it again hoping it will work. I use Vortex which does it all automatically.
