Blue Astra Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 In SGO, when you give birth, you strip your armour to do the animation.  Cursed loot has an option for you to cover yourself if you are naked.  When giving birth with SGO, the cursed loot cover animation will trigger, but this breaks the SGO animation which leaves you unable to control your character.  SGO will try to fix this but it quite often doesn't work for me.  I can think of two solutions to fix this (yes, I know I could just disable the cover self animation but that would be boring).  Add a delay to when the cover self animation from cursed loot plays  or  Change which armour slot gets stripped when the SGO animation plays or just disable the stripping.  The problem is, I've search the SGO and cursed loot scripts and ESPs for armour strip settings and cover self respectively and I just can't find anything.  If anyone could help me find what I'm looking for I would greatly appreciate it.Â
Just Don't Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Or disable DCL cover when naked and use Dynamic Animation Replacer to handle conditional idles. DAR has some anim sets already, with two featuring covering while naked. Â DARÂ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33746 EVG Conditional Idles (this has several idles for different conditions, with one being naked)Â https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34006 Modesty (this is cover when naked only)Â https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34775 Â Time to start using the modern solutions.

Thanks for the input but I think you've missed my point. Â The problem was the DCL cover animation breaking the SGO animation. Â By using one of the mods you suggest, it just means that mod will break the animation instead of DCL.

No, because the implementation is different. I've tested DAR with Egg Factory/DD/MME and animations didn't overlap, ever. I haven't tested SGO, but I think you should see a similar result. Try it, DAR doesn't even use a slot in your loadorder (and animation sets either, these are just hkx files).

I did test DAR with SGO and it breaks it.  From what I've tested, if any mod whatsoever tries to play an animation during the SGO animation, it will break.
Blue Astra Posted April 18, 2020 Author Posted April 18, 2020 Well I did some more searching and found the SGO script responsible for the armour stripping. Â I've edited the source file but am struggling to compile it into a usable script file. Â Â
Just Don't Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Ok, this seems weird because from what you're telling me SGO is the only mod that has this issue? (as I said, any other mod making character naked doesn't show animation conflicts). I just tested this in my game, SGO animations plays without issue with DAR cover animations. I can't remember having your issue with Defeat or DCL cover anim either. So I'd say the issue is on your side. Perhaps the issue was present in previous versions? Which SGO version are you using? I tested this with one of the latest betas and everything else latest version (Skyrim SE, SKSE, Sexlab and FNIS for SE).

When you tested it with SGO, did you use any of the longer animations such as inserting multiple gems or milking multiple times?  For me, SGO works probably 80% of the time when it is able to finish the shorter animations before any sort of cover animation is played.
Just Don't Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Yeah, inserting gems, birthing and milking work just fine, even multiple items at a time. I even tried it in different places, never had any animation conflict. Again, which SGO version are you using? I just noted I have installed the beta4 and there is a beta5 available.
