Ragno-17 Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 Hi! I hope someone can help me with this problem, it is making my game unplayable. A few day ago i was playing when my pc restarted with a blue windows screen, after that i began playing again but about 30 minutes later the pc shutdown again, later occurred to be a gpu driver fail, so i updated all the drivers. Since then every time i try to play with mods my sims get stuck standing doing nothing. I tried to do anything i could, updated all mod and cc, tried the 50/50 method, "sims 4" folder reset, reinstalled the game, but the problem won't be gone. Also tried to install the game to another pc with same mods and saves and there works fine. Please help because this is making me insane? Game version latest :1.62.67.1020 ww:v153b nisa's:ll2.5b basemental:5.11.120 mccc:7.1.0 no last exception file made by the game
Crashdown117 Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 Fast way to maybe solve the issue: Shift-click on your Sim and select to "reset object". (just mentioning this because it's not on your list) Â Have you checked your settings? You can disable autonomy for the active Sim in the game's options and I think MCCC also offers a few options regarding autonomy (access it via a computer, it's in the global settings IIRC). Sometimes, when things got "stuck the wrong way", I also did this: I altered my settings to reflect what was happening, saved and closed the game, started it again and changed the settings back to what I wanted them to be, then save and exit again - boom, everything was fine the next time I loaded my game. Worked for me once or twice, maybe it does for you, too. Â EDIT: BMD received an update a few days ago - download it, just to be safe.
Ragno-17 Posted April 16, 2020 Author Posted April 16, 2020 Thanks for your support, tried also all you suggested but that didn't work neither. However figured out what was the trouble, rolled back everything happened and started to treat it like an hardware issue, and i was right, disabling the nvidia gpu in my laptop and playing with the intel graphics the game started working fine again, so i guess i'm going to see what's wrong with the gpu. Thanks again for your reply.?
Crashdown117 Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Thanks for letting everybody know, what was causing your issue. Good to know that hardware problems can apparently kill autonomy, too.
