BobCross Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Hey everyone, I'm trying to add a skirt onto an existing clothing mod which is a demin shirt. It was originally too long so I've shortened it with no issues, then added the mini skirt from the "mini sage outfit", did a bit of blending inside outfit studio to make the skirt and the shirt allign properly and to get rid of things clipping trough eachother. Final result looks like this. Spoiler Then I exported the outfit I made in the folder where the original outfit would go, with the same name, so it was replaced. Once I was ingame, the skirt just isn't there whatever I do. I did take every apparel item off and equipped only the outfit itself, but no cigar. The stockings are from Slavetats so I don't think they interfere with anything related. Spoiler I double checked with NifSkope to see if I did something wrong, but the skirt shows up in NifSkope aswell. Spoiler I'll take any help I can get as I've never encountered this error before. Thanks
myuhinny Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Does the slot for the skirt match the slot for the shirt? The slot for the shirt must match the skirts. If there is a _0 and _1 file everything in both nifs must be the same. Spoiler
BobCross Posted April 14, 2020 Author Posted April 14, 2020 oh so it has to be on the same bodyslot. that explains it then, i changed it to 49, was previously on 46 from the original mod. i thought that you'd have to put the slot to the coresponding body part. in any case, big thanks!
Swe-DivX Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 Use this only on the armor mesh. Not body parts. NiNode / NiTriShape / BSDismemberSkinInstace to NiSkinInstance 1. Use NifSkope 2. Open {MOD}\CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\{Project name}.nif 3. NiNode / NiTriShape / BSDismemberSkinInstace and right click Block / Convert / NiS.. / NiSkinInstance 4. Now run Build in bodyslide, dont forget Build Morphs. Now you can change the Armor Flag in you esp file to whatever.
