The file attached is a picture of the pose but I guess most people know it already. Its been a while for me so I dont remember what the problem is and/or how to fix it... everything I ve tried didnt work and I also dont know how it was caused as I did not change anything... but suddenly all male npcs who are standing around remain in that pose... its annoying. anyone know a fix? coolfreaky Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 i would advice you to remove some animations pack (it might ease the game stability ) after you run FNIS : click on " consistence check " do the overwrite thing, and try your game. if this does not work ; i have noticed that gender specifications checked creates some problems ( never tried with mal anims ) run again FNIS but with gender specifications Unchecked and follow the process. check and verify your mod specifications and requirements and his load order position . hope it helps ( as my knowledge of FNIS is very thin )

Edit: I have got no problem with game stability whatsoever

Go back a day or so before you first noticed it and try some saves from there, see if they show the same problem. If it is case of FNIS not getting updated when something was added or removed the issue would remain in the save game no matter if you ran FNIS again after the save.

I did that and... at first I thought "alright, here it still works..." but then I found a few NPCs still doing the jumping jack pose. Reloading my latest save and... it seems like its pretty much every male nps inside the bannered mare, but outside its just a few. but its still there even more confused now xD

If the issue is with FNIS not registering animations (whether by user error or something else) and you have saved since then you will never be able to fix that save. To test if it is that find the first save you made on this play through and run around with that. If it works then start loading later saves until you find one where it doesn't work. Use the save previous to that. I'd also recommend the FNIS animation limit crash fix If you don't already have it. I've not see FNIS do this because of too many animations, normally you just won't be able to load a save, it will just CTD. Also, I know I am suggesting that the error is yours and people don't like to hear that but I would say 90% of issues posted to the Support thread are user errors. And, in all honesty, over 95% of errors I have ever had with my own game are down to me not doing something correctly.

Problem is, when you dont know what that mistake was exactly... and in a modded skyrim there is plenty of possible "mistakes". Of course I ve got all the fixes and patches. Nevertheless sometimes strange things happen... just wanted to reach out in case someone would be goin "yes, I v had that, and THIS is the solution"... Never hurts to ask :)
