It seems to reliably happening in the Blue palace and just outside the Mistveil Keep in Riften (area where the guards train) and can't seem to figure out what is causing it. Given your locations y first guess would be your Guards Armor Replacer. However, you have a long LO with a lot of mods with which I am unfamiliar. So, you probably have a better shot at knowing which mods are likely to make texture/mesh changes in those areas than I have.

Thank you for the reply - given that both locations are in the same place I hazard a guess at it being the Palaces and Castles mod. Will remove, try again and see if I can reproduce the crash. If so, see any updates to the mod. EDIT - Think I figured it out, and it is related to Castles and Palaces Enhanced. Not sure 100% what the problem IS, but removing it frm my load order seem to have sol,lved the isseue. I'm assuming it's a conflict somewhere - maybe with ELFX, as reading the discussion page over on Nexus it's incompatible.
