Seijin8 Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 At minimum, run LOOT. Specs don't matter. Are the freezes/CTDs happening with an old save game or a new one?
ChuckleButt Posted March 28, 2020 Author Posted March 28, 2020 yes, am using skyrim se they start occuring fairly soon into new games to be more specific, they occur randomly aswell as with swinging a weapon in combat when multiple npcs are involved. I thought it was my magic mod so removed that but am still getting them. Have adjusted detail settings thinking it might be memory / bloat. I have a save cleaner and was using that with a lvl 40 ish character but it started happen too often to be playable. I appreciate the help, am inexperienced in modding but really enjoy losing myself in skyrim with the new gameplay and graphical enhancements on offer. Just checked my version nubmers and am running latest of Skyrim SE and SKSE -i think- : 1.597.08 and skse64 2.0.17 rel 6 it says bottom left of my menu. I think maybe some of my plugins might require different versions of skse to work maybe but being a novice i thought i'd invite expert input to save myself more time spent frustrated.

It is enabled as i got the idea to do this before but then i didn't find the log itself. I think i have now. Cheers for your help. May go a post over at the sse technical support page to see if anyone might be able to pinpoint a problem in the loot list. Thanks again
GuitarMadness Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 I'm very late to the party here, but if you have .NetFramework installed, anytime you get a crash, it will ease your headaches by printing out a crash log of the most probable mods causing problems by popping off the stack what was being called during skyrim's runtime
RedMonika Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 In my experience the BASH patch should be at the bottom unless you have other merged patches like dual sheath. I've also had issues with multiple NPC mods.
