amorrow28 Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 (edited) Here is my skirt removal mod backported from CS4, removing skirts for many characters, playable and non-playable alike. I did not include low-poly models. It is less extensive than my CS4 mod, but I backported anything I could. This mod is also available in .pkg format! https://www.loverslab.com/topic/141087-trails-of-cold-steel-3-mod-request/?do=findComment&comment=4026616 VERSION 1.2: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/141087-trails-of-cold-steel-3-mod-request/?do=findComment&comment=3773382 VERSION 1.1a: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/141087-trails-of-cold-steel-3-mod-request/?do=findComment&comment=3759062 Version 1.1: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/141087-trails-of-cold-steel-3-mod-request/?do=findComment&comment=3751069 CS3_UnSkirtMod_with_3Dmigoto_1_3_16.7z - OBSOLETE version 1.0 Press F1 for help, press F2 to turn mods on and off. The mod includes 3Dmigoto v1.3.16. I don't have it configured for 3D (I don't have a compatible setup). It *should* be compatible with the nude towel mod from @S_S_Majin above, but it will not function as is; copy the "Textures" folder from his mod into the "Mods" folder, and then overwrite the ini files with ones provided by me. (The big boobs / fluttering skirts mod using .inf files doesn't use 3dmigoto so it should be fine, but I haven't tested it). If you are installing this setup, I advise deleting the "ShaderFixes" folder before installing (or better yet run the "uninstall.bat" file before installing, it won't delete any mods, just custom shaders). My original CS4 mod: My Hajimari no Kiseki forwardport: Enjoy! Edited March 15, 2023 by amorrow28 5
amorrow28 Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 (edited) Here's an update for my CS3 skirt removal mod! It's pretty much complete at this point, there might be some random skirts left, I dunno. I'm pretty confident I've done everything possible except for DLC that I didn't bother purchasing, since in this game I have access to the debug room. If a skirt is removed in game but the doesn't show in the costume menu, it's probably because overriding the needed shader caused too many visual artifacts and I chose to leave it off. (And if your favorite NPC isn’t modded, it’s probably because the model was low poly, like all the poor class 8/9 students) This mod is also available in .pkg format! https://www.loverslab.com/topic/141087-trails-of-cold-steel-3-mod-request/?do=findComment&comment=4026616 NOTE: PLEASE DELETE THE PRIOR MOD (delete the Mods/UnSkirtMod folder), OR THERE WILL BE ERRORS. I included a save file for NG+, but if you are in the middle of the game and don't want to start over, you can use cheat engine to give yourself the costume. (The NG+ save file overwrites whatever you have in slot 200, but if you have a save in slot 200 then you probably don't need my save file...) Make sure to move it over to wherever your saves are located. Enjoy! Edited March 15, 2023 by amorrow28 5

I can try to help, but I'd need a lot more details. What mod are you trying to use? Are you trying to use multiple mods together? What version of CS3 are you using? (I developed my skirt delete mod for CS3 1.05 Steam edition, and have no idea if it works with other versions.) Assuming you're trying to use my skirt delete mod, keep reading. (I can't help with other people's mods, sorry.) Is 3Dmigoto loading properly? If it is, you should be able to see a help screen when pressing F1. Pressing F2 turns the mods on and off. If 3Dmigoto is loading properly and you've turned mods on, try Ctrl-Alt-F10 which fully resets the mod next. If that doesn't work, use the "uninstall.bat" that comes with my mod to wipe your 3Dmigoto setup, and then (backup and) delete your Mods folder entirely. Then reinstall from scratch and see if that fixes it. If none of those work, can you take some screenshots to show me what works and what doesn't?

The mod would have to be rebuilt.

Which release does your mod works on?
amorrow28 Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 I made mine with the NIS America version from steam (USA). If you want to send me some frame dump logs, I can do some comparisons. I would need to send you some hacked save game files, and have you do dumps in the debug room. If you’re interested and willing, let me know and I’ll post some instructions.

Turn around, and get all the characters in the frame, just like this picture: (it's safe to click, but I put it in a spoiler box just in case) Spoiler PRESS F8. Now quit the game, and go to your CS3 x64 folder (usually {Your Steam Folder}\steamapps\common\The Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel III\bin\x64, same place you put the mod files). amorrow28 Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 (edited) Small bugfix release. Removing Altina's tights in the costume menu was causing weird shadow issues on all characters in the scene due to a shared pixel shader. As far as I know, this only affects CS3, not CS4/Hajimari. amorrow28 Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 In case anyone is only following this thread and not the CS4 thread, @coomi made some breast size modifications to @Switch608's legendary nude mod, and I've updated my compatibility wrapper so it works in CS3 with my skirt delete mod. amorrow28 Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 (edited) So another modder and I have been messing around with asset swapping (injection) in the Hajimari thread, and I decided to try to use the technique to put more nude mods into CS3. And it works... pretty well actually! This basically takes the nude mods by @coomi work with more models in CS3 by replacing the CS3 default models with the CS4/Hajimari Towel-wearing models. You will need to install the basic mods (the CS3 version of my UnskirtMod as well as my compatibility wrapper), all information can be found here: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/166239-trails-of-cold-steel-4-mod-request/?do=findComment&comment=3832221 Beware - this is NOT for the faint of heart. There are a lot of steps here. Also, you should know that while this works pretty well, sometimes CS3 just refuses to load the transferred assets and you end up with floating heads, no bodies. I can't figure out why, but the best I can figure out is that it needs to load normal assets first, then the new assets (I think these costumes are all secondary costumes that borrow assets from the primary costumes. Since we're replacing the primary costumes, that doesn't always work out.) If you get floating heads, just re-inject the default files, reload your saved game, and try injecting again. Edit: The floating head problem has been solved, thanks to the help I received from the discord folks! Finally, this is achievable by taking assets from CS4 (10 of the girls) and Hajimari (Claire and Vita). So you need to have those games too. UPDATE: Version 1.2 and above fixes the floating heads. UPDATE: Please use injection files version 1.1 for Coomi mod v1.4.0 and above. Instructions below updated. (Also, use wrapper v3.5+) CS3 injection files v1.2.7z CS3 injection files v1.1.7z - OBSOLETE CS3 injection files.7z - OBSOLETE (This download package contains my python scripts as well as new .ini files for the nude mods. Installing the new .ini files is exactly the same as that for Juna, Altina, etc from the link above. It does NOT contain assets.) Ok, here we go... Quote Basic requirements: CS3, CS4 and/or Hajimari, python 3 My asset swap tools are already included in the download, but latest versions are always available at my Github. Now you can utilize the nude mod. Be sure to replace all the .ini files that the mods come with (meant for CS4/Hajimari) with the ones that I included in the download package in this post. Every model is available in Hajimari, so if for some reason you don't have CS4 but do have Hajimari (hey you do you), you could use the Hajimari versions instead. The install size will be about 3x larger. If you followed all my steps, then pat yourself on the back and enjoy the view! Spoiler (Cedric does not look happy to see what's going on here...)
