Bromm83 Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Hey all! I have been wodering if developing relationsships with vanilla cmpanions were possible on this platform without breaking the game. I have been planning on trying to make a plugin for that reason, but I will need some background information from you trivia/lore freaks What I need to begin with is: 1. Which companions are straight/gay/bi 2. Which companions got a dirty mind, are romantics and so on. 3. Are any of the companions too scarred to develop a relationship with? 4. What types of gifts would suit each comapnion? 5. Any other background information relevant to the companions for developing a plugin. Warning: This would be a massive project and will not be done any time soon. Project plan so far: - Adding new topics like flirting, groping and so on. - Adding a gift system - Using your standing with the companions as a base for relationship. Also if anyone know what the problems with a plugin like this is and where the conflicts are most likely to appear please drop a comment about it here.

(hell, Cass has an ending where she kicks your door down in an attempt to fuck you... but only if you are male and only fucked females!) Cass has a very obvious dirty mind... "Long Dick Johnson"? Veronica seems to lean that way too... Boone and Arcade don't seem to indicate really to me, but I've not played with them much. (FNARRR!!) Lily is an old Granny-style character, and really isn't dirty minded at all. Raul? A bit of an enigma... he doesn't indicate either way, so I couldn't say myself. Boone is WAAAAAAY too scarred... Veronica might be difficult to get close to. Cass doesn't have any problems. Raul is just withdrawn and, quite frankly, a depressed emo ghoul. Lily would be just friends. Arcade might, but seems to have a shell he needs to break out of. Do not ever give chems to Cass... really, just don't. She gave me a lecture when I tried talking to her while high on Jet. Veronica loves pretty stuff, dresses mainly. Not a fucking clue as to Raul or Boone... Arcade might like sciency stuff. Lily? I guess stuff that might be chintzy... Should be a lot of background info to wade through there, but slogging through the entries over at http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_companions would be well worth it.
Guest Loogie Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Damn Bromm, you stole my thunder! I was going to make a really simple plugin so people could bang vanilla companions. Way I see it, Cass will go either way (she doesn't care who she fucks while drunk, and she's always drunk). Veronica is gay, but with the abuse she suffers in the other plugins I could see her swinging both ways reluctantly. Boone is so freshly over the loss of his wife that he wouldn't haul off and bang anyone, but you could make a long hook into his vanilla quest for female players since this is about romance and not fucking; she could help him get over the loss and have faith in people again. Funny thing about that is its something Nexus dweebs have been dreaming about.. Arcade seems to be partial to non-serious flings, and is gay. Raul, I think, would be extremely shocked if sex was offered, and I think he would go for it. Lily I don't think would have much interest in sex, considering she was old when turned into a mutant. If you write the scripting, I can write the dialog that sounds like something the characters would say.

You are not permitted to watch unless you are already his sex partner. - Will not consider sex with the player until his sidequest is finished and he has some closure over his wife. - After he has some closure, he will still require a one-shot mid-difficulty speechcheck to convince him to "move on" with his life, plus another low-level speechcheck or Black Widow perk to seduce him, before he'll consider sleeping with a female PC. - After a few rounds in bed with a female PC he will lose interest in bedding prostitutes. - For a male PC, will require that same "move on" speechchek, plus a harder one convincing him to "try out some manlove". You must also have done some severe damage to the legion, since he will associate manlove with Legion-style behaviour, and need assurances you're not a Legion sympathiser. - If you have sex with him as a male PC with a low sexskill, he will find it quite disgusting and not be willing to try it again. With a high sexskill he will find it surprisingly enjoyable and will be available for more. - As a male PC he will continue to use female prostitutes, as he does not consider you suitable for a romantic relationship. 2. Arcade --------- - Will have sex with male prostitutes if you hire them for him. You are not permitted to watch unless you are already his sex partner. - Will have sex with a male player if you offer. Requires low speech-check or Confirmed Bachelor perk. - Will have sex with a female player if you beat a high speechcheck convincing him to try it out. If your sex-skill is low, he will not do it again. If your sex-skill is high, he will be interested in more. 3. Veronica ----------- - Will have sex with female prostitutes if you hire them for her. You are not permitted to watch unless you are already her sex partner. - Will have sex with a female player if you offer. Requires low speech-check or Cherchez la Femme perk. - Will have sex with a male player if you beat a high speechcheck convincing her to try it out. If your sex-skill is low, she will not do it again. If your sex-skill is high, she will be interested in more. 4. Cass ----------- - Will have sex with prostitutes if you hire them for her. You are not permitted to watch unless you are already her sex partner. - Will have sex with player of either gender if you go through some dialogue getting extremely drunk with her first. Your perks and skills will then be judged to see if she becomes a sex partner. - The next morning, if you had low sexskill she will act embarrassed over what happened and turn down any future "let's get drunk together" ideas. - If you were male with a mid-level sex skill, (Ladykiller being a bonus) she will become your sex partner. Female PCs will require a much higher sex-skill and must have the Cherchez la Femme perk. 5. Raul ----------- - Refuses sex with prostitutes on the grounds of showing them mercy - Will accept sex with player if you beat a mid-level speech check convincing him you don't mind that he's ghoulified, or if he has seen you hire a ghoul prostitute for yourself. - Doesn't mind if you're male or female, as long as he's the pitcher and you're the catcher
